The Beltone HearMax app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, and make simple or more advanced sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them. Last, but not least, you can have your hearing care professional update your hearing aid programs and send you new hearing aid software without taking a trip to the clinic. App needs improvement for connectivity to hearing aids an also more options to change sound quality an volume change so you have full control of the hearing aid from factory settings to how they are set up at the audiology appointment an be able to turn them into your ideal pair once start using them for everyday use

Received App requiring an update, so I did & now I cannot access the App. It’s still on my iPhone, but when I tap to show it the Beltone opening appears & then disappears!!! I can’t reset or refresh as advised as I also don’t have access to websites/online services. What options do I have?Colleen

Reliable Bluetooth connectivity is terrible.

The app continually drops fat too often. The left hearing aid can’t connect to the app. To correct I turn the phone off and restart the phone. Sometimes this works sometimes not. If this fails I have to delete the app, reinstall and go through the pairing sequence again. Your history of updates seems to constantly refer to improving connectivity but I can’t see any improvement. This is not good enough.
Reliable Bluetooth connectivity is terrible.

Thus app worked well for the first 6 months. Now the sound drops out on the left hearing aid several times a day usually when I take a phone call, or use other apps. Need to switch phone off then on. Inconvenient
