I’m 17 years old and I’m still learning about investing but it’s honestly the best micro investing app as it has the lowest fees out of the majority of them in Australia. The customer service is amazing they answer so fast and yeah I highly recommend this for anyone of any age that has their own bank account! Start as soon as possible because investing gets better over time and thus the earlier you put your money the better (tip don’t use money u love off, invest spare money even if it’s only $2 a week, it’s better than nothing) and don’t forget to do your own research in general to learn more. It’s 4/5 stars because I do wish they had mini videos explaining what things like unit price etc means, it would help and encourage beggineers a lot :) Love the app (trust me download it)

Still not able to change my linked account after months of a verified account

I set up my spaceship account a few years back but didn’t really get into investing much. Recently started regularly investing though wanted to change my linked account to setup automatic withdrawals. It’s been months now and there is still some arbitrary security lock on my account that won’t let me change linked bank accounts. Support continually say there is nothing they can do until the period is up and provide some ridiculous bs about it being for my account security. The worst part is they don’t ask for any additional information to increase the security of my account so my account is just locked for some unknown period of time leaving me to manually transfer money to an account I barely use just to deposit. Worst experience with an investment app so far. I would stick to Raiz if starting out. These guys still have a long way to go.

Great app, super easy to invest and see returns immediately

Spaceship makes it super easy to invest - I really wish I had have known about it earlier this year so I could get my money working while I was busy writing my thesis and had no time to invest manually. I like the stock breakdown describing strengths + risks, but could do with links to the company website and maybe stats like sales, equity, etc. Also updates about the company on that page would be cool - such as latest news and what your financial team thinks about it.The app itself is clean and easy to navigate. Everything is clear and intuitive.My only gripes stopping 5 stars:- no iPad app (please!)- sometimes too simplistic, I wish the “portfolio” was more in depth (percentage of which stock, and other stuff above)- the app doesn’t seem to confirm investments properly. Sometimes I wasn’t sure if it went though. E.g. it doesn’t say “0 transactions pending”- bug maybe: if my fingerprint fails too many times (I have terrible luck with fingerprints and Apple 🤷‍♂️) it doesn’t ask for a passcode, it just goes to a white screen that says “log in” and nothing else. Had to reboot device to clear it. Also opening the app from the App Store page seems to clear the error without rebooting - it just asks for my pin. I’m on an iPad mini 5 iOS 14.4.- no iPad app!!

I’ve been interested in share trading and investing my whole adult life. I used to casually trade shares, and had a couple of really good pay offs, trading on medical marijuana listed companies, but I’d constantly be on my phone. This is such an awesome way to still get your money working for you, without putting in the man hours. If you’ve got money to trade shares, I’d definitely recommend for something like spaceship instead, just from my personal experience. It’s a smart move, having professionals handle your money, rather than trying to read up on share trading tips, studying candle stick charts and in the end still half guessing what to do. It’s calculated gambling, and having a team of pros in your corner puts the odds in your favour. Super stoked to see my little stash slowly gaining, without me lifting a finger. AWESOME! 🤙🏼☮️🙏🏼
