At first I was irritated by the change, but I’m a creature of habit. This app is DEFINITELY an improvement from the last, It used to jump around like crazy especially when scrolling through new jobs, this app doesn’t. I also really enjoy how I can now easily edit ‘past session’, I.e, I’d often do last minute sessions and it took me ages to figure out I could ‘plan’ a session once a date had passed. It’s much easier to keep track of sessions now. That being said, there’s still some flaws. Namely, the ‘hit boxes’ and page barriers often glitch, cutting off text, not letting me scroll etc to the point I have to ‘start again’. The super and tax calculator are an awesome feature and I’m pleased they’ve kept it.

I actually worked on a session with devs for the old app. There was one or two things with the old app that should’ve been improved- like at tax time when mable doesn’t compile all of their deductions over the tax period for you, but you have to add each individual invoices percentage up. Then they made a whole new app- which was completely unnecessary and not what any of us asked for idk why this happened, but I’ve pretty much stopped using this app, and purely use my laptop to access invoicing and jobs.Completely different and unnecessary changes which are just confusing- as someone else mentioned too- the nature of this job isn’t necessarily a tight schedule- not being able to delete or access sessions once the time has lapsed is just weird, you should be able to change stuff? Anyways- kinda frustrated and done with it, just wanted to add my two cents and another 1* review for this mess- whoever pitched this should be sacked 👋🏽

Mable has finally opened their phone lines again, and we get to have information and help quicker than the last couple of years. I’ve also noticed that the people answering the phone speak English clearly. Makes communication so much easier!I’ve been using Mable as a full time job for 3 years now, and am able to find jobs easily. It helps to build up lots of reviews, as well as updating any new training I have completed. The only thing that annoys me (hence the 4 stars), is that I often come across ‘jobs’ that are actually support workers looking for work. Maybe it isn’t clear on signing up? The chatbot hasn’t been helpful to me, as it just ends up telling me to send an email with whatever details. Emails often take too long to get a reply. But, definitely the phone lines are now so much better. Thank you.
