Glee Calendar helps your household stay organised with a clear, colourful planner that makes upcoming events easy to see from across the room. It is designed for shared visibility, so everyone knows what is happening today and in the week ahead.
Use an old iPad or Apple TV as a dedicated family dashboard, or put a current iPad to better use when it would otherwise be sitting idle on a benchtop or in a drawer. Glee Calendar turns the devices you already own into a practical planner for the kitchen or any central space in your home.
Designed for iPad and Apple TV, Glee Calendar gives you a readable shared display for family schedules. It also includes Mac and iPhone apps, making it easy to check details, launch notes, and navigate to events when you are on the go.
Glee Calendar features:
- Shared household visibility: Display upcoming events in a clear, readable layout so the whole family can stay aligned on what is happening next.
- Redesigned settings control centre: Manage accounts, calendar colours, display, integrations, weather, and support from a cleaner category-based Settings experience on iPhone and iPad.
- Optional notes integration: Add a floating Notes shortcut on iPhone and iPad and choose Apple Notes, Obsidian, or OneNote, with fallback to Apple Notes when needed.
- Faster event creation: Add a new event directly from each day in the week view, with the draft prefilled for that day.
- Flexible calendar display: Show multiple calendars together and customise colours to match people, event types, or any system that works for your household.
- Simple event navigation: Open event locations in Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze directly from the iPhone app for faster trip planning.
- Configurable day windows: Choose how many upcoming days appear at once in portrait and landscape, with platform-tuned defaults across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
- Rolling 30-day schedule view: Swipe or page through a full month of upcoming grouped days across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
- Streamlined weather search: Search for a forecast location from a cleaner inline search experience, while current-device weather remains available when permitted.
- Countdown to next event: See how long until the next event starts, helping adults and children prepare with less guesswork.
- Smarter multi-day layouts: Multi-day and day-part events wrap intelligently to make the best use of screen space while staying readable at a distance.
- Day-part planning: Split the day into Morning, Afternoon, and Evening sections for quicker visual scanning.
- Weather context: See the forecast for the week ahead by day part so your household can plan for changing conditions.
- Adaptive text sizing: Event text grows when space allows and scales down when days are busy, helping keep the display legible.
- Automatic day and night themes: Light and dark colour schemes switch automatically at dawn and dusk.
Supported calendars
- iPad, Mac, and iPhone: Supports calendars already connected to Apple Calendar on your device, and also supports adding Google Calendars.
- Apple TV: Supports Google Calendars. Outlook calendar support is planned for a future release.
