Claims simpler than pulling teeth

Time is precious, so when you have an app that is so easy, you brag about it. The digital dexterity of the app is above simple praise. It was a pleasure to claim my money back from the dentist and simpler than pulling teeth. I was amazed at the funds returned. It made it worthwhile visiting the dentist and I will certainly visit more often. I strongly recommend the nib app as it really soothe the pain from the dentist. Try it for yourself, you will be surprised.

Little Care for Members

I recently stayed in hospital at St Vinnies Private in Melbourne. When I went to register at the hospital the nurse contacted nib regarding copayment she was told by the nib operator that no payment was required on this occasion. I asked again to make sure so the nurse made sure by asking the operator again who again repeated that she had checked and no payment on this occasion is required I thought great thought nothing about it.
I get a bill from St Vinnies now demanding payment. I explained my story to the manager she said the hospital only do as the health insurance company tell them, on the day they said no payment required now they are saying a few months after that payment is required… the health insurance has it all your own way, each company cries poor to the federal government to put up premiums yet when it comes to being decent to the members you are strict and in this case incompetent so I now have to cough up at an inconvenient time to pay st Vinnies for your error
It’s no wonder people are leaving health insurance in droves you say you care but of course that is a lot of BS

In general nib do not have co payments as such associated with private health insurance hospital cover however, there may be an excess applicable. depending on your level of cover.

Took two months to pay back

Im not super happy with nib because when I claimed my hospital bill ( what I already paid for the hospital) after two week’s passed nothing happened I didn’t got back my money, and when i called them up found out they sent the amount for the hospital, because they claimed also the money somehow after i paid. The dispatcher sorted out the issue she also were wondering what and how that happened because it was clear i had paid… but for their mistake I needed to wait about two months for get back what I already paid for.
