I myself have been with Nrma car insurance for as long as I have been driving. I agree with the other review Nrma may be more costly for some. But I too have never had any problems or issues dealing with any staff of Nrma. The road side assist has helped me out big time running out of fuel just out of Melbourne Nrma NSW talked with VIC roads branch and they were great, helping when I was stranded with my daughter due to a flat battery. Always on hand maybe not always on time but that is to be expected with traffic today.

Paying a missed payment doesn’t update your payment method for next time

If my credit card starts declining payments, there’s a good chance it needs to be updated for future payments. Of course, I’m not even aware that there’s been a decline until days later when I get a dishonour letter (something before the due date might have been nice so my credit score isn’t affected), so I immediately log in and fix the problem, pay the outstanding balance. The following month the same thing?? Why not at the very least least give me a message that I ALSO need to update my card details separately (I.e. enter my card details twice).

I also got a very confusing message when I did go in to update the card details (so this doesn’t happen a third time) saying by updating my payment they have to change the name on my account (from my name, to who knows what, it didn’t say, but probably also my name).

Bring back the old version!

Who on earth thought this new design was a step forward for customers? You’ve made things harder not easier. I used to be able to see all my upcoming payments in one tab. Now I have to go into each policy individually. With 5 policies that’s way too much work - 15 taps to see all 5 upcoming payments instead of just 1 tap and scroll in the old version. You’ve also removed the tabs along the bottom when most other apps are moving towards the tab design. I also don’t need to see the background picture of the boy washing the car 4 TIMES on the same screen just because I have 4 car policies! And the majority of people won’t have claims or quotes on the go all the time so why are you wasting valuable dashboard space with big empty boxes!? You need a new UX team and perhaps some user feedback sessions before releasing such drastic and unwanted changes.
