Quick balance
• Set up and view the balances and 10 most recent transactions of up to 3 accounts without logging on
• Easily transfer money between your Quick balance accounts
• Set up your iOS widget to access Quick balance from your Today Tray without opening the app (iOS 10 or above)
• Share your BSB via message or email from Quick balance.

Quick logon
• Use your fingerprint or security number to logon^
• Use Face ID to logon on iPhone X and above.

Manage your settings
• Tap the profile icon to update your details.

Expense Splitter
• Paid for a shared expense? Use Expense Splitter to keep track of who’s paid you. You can also SMS your friends what they owe you~.

Notifications and alerts
• Choose from 7 types of alerts: Deposit, Withdrawal, Daily Balance, Low Balance, High Balance, Dishonour, and Credit Card Repayment Reminder
• Receive as a mobile push notification, SMS or email alert.

Cardless Cash
• Withdraw cash without your debit card from any St.George, Westpac, Bank of Melbourne or BankSA ATM within Australia (daily and weekly limits apply).

Lost your card?
• Temporarily lock your card for up to 15 days*
• Report your card lost or stolen.

• Tap ‘Contact us’ to get help faster and skip the security questions~.

• Send and receive payments in near real time between customers with St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA accounts

• Find a Global ATM Alliance network ATM when overseas.

Apple Watch
•Use Mobile Banking on Apple Watch, by pairing it with an eligible device
• Use our refreshed Apple Watch App independently of our iPhone App on Apple Watch series 3 after setting up your iPhone.

Worthy !

I’ve been with St George for longer than I care to remember, before mobile banking was a concept even , so I’ve been able to enjoy the transition from HAVING to line up in queues for ages and writing cheques ! To pay bills to internet banking to now doing it all on the fly via my phone ...
Yes there will always be room for improvement as technology advances hopefully the people involved with this service will be on their game and keep up or better yet anticipate issues before they occur. Listen to the customer ! We’re not the problem. There can be too much automation too where between each dept information provided isn’t shared . So when this occurs the one who is disadvantaged is the customer WHO is just trying to do their mobile banking ... the whole organisation must realise that they are the SUM of ALL PARTS. Without us , the customers they are redundant .
So that aside - I’m very impressed with the mobile banking . Just feel there should be some real time contactability in case of customer issues . Even if by email for relevant dept.

Quick balance is unreadable

UPDATE May 2020
When I click on the quick balance screen it shows the list of recent transactions, but the text on every line is cut in half lengthwise so that it is illegible.

I really enjoy using the app for almost all of my banking, but was a bit disappointed that with the iOS optimisation to 11 the Touch ID no longer seems to be a part of signing in. Or at least I haven’t been offered it again since updating to the new iOS and then later updating my phone. Will this be re-introduced?

Fraud and Scams Department Appalling

I have been with St George Bank for 40 years and last night I got phished by a cyber criminal and had a large amount of money stolen from my credit card . It took me around 7 hours and multiple attempts over that time to try and report the fraud to St George. I was met with dropped calls, wrong information , lack of support and eventually when I spoke to the person in the fraud department she was rude cold and unhelpful and not interested in the information that I had about the perpetrator of the fraud in order to prevent him doing it to others customers , mums and dads who could lose their hard earned savings . She was Not interested . What terrible conduct . St George you should be ashamed of your selves . Lack of training and poor systems . Please learn from American Express ; ANZ and Citibank how to handle fraud complaints promptly efficiently and with care for your stakeholders .
