Worthy !

I’ve been with St George for longer than I care to remember, before mobile banking was a concept even , so I’ve been able to enjoy the transition from HAVING to line up in queues for ages and writing cheques ! To pay bills to internet banking to now doing it all on the fly via my phone ...
Yes there will always be room for improvement as technology advances hopefully the people involved with this service will be on their game and keep up or better yet anticipate issues before they occur. Listen to the customer ! We’re not the problem. There can be too much automation too where between each dept information provided isn’t shared . So when this occurs the one who is disadvantaged is the customer WHO is just trying to do their mobile banking ... the whole organisation must realise that they are the SUM of ALL PARTS. Without us , the customers they are redundant .
So that aside - I’m very impressed with the mobile banking . Just feel there should be some real time contactability in case of customer issues . Even if by email for relevant dept.

Quick balance is unreadable

UPDATE May 2020
When I click on the quick balance screen it shows the list of recent transactions, but the text on every line is cut in half lengthwise so that it is illegible.

I really enjoy using the app for almost all of my banking, but was a bit disappointed that with the iOS optimisation to 11 the Touch ID no longer seems to be a part of signing in. Or at least I haven’t been offered it again since updating to the new iOS and then later updating my phone. Will this be re-introduced?

Poor - with update should be zero stars

Fix this terrible, amateur app.

On hold with st George customer service now as the app has denied me access because it seems unable to accept an access number that has had to be changed. This app resets itself every single time my phone updates it’s operating system. And as result renders it’s useless. I’m yet again trying to solve the issue with customer service and listening to awful music. Yet. Again.

There is no functionality with this awful app. My comments below still stand. There is no reason why this app should not be able to cope with operating system updates. This is poor design. I shouldn’t have to spend ages on hold speaking to customer service to try and get access to my account, and mobile banking. The CBA app is seamless and not once have I had to go through the hoops I have to go through with this.

This app has a very poor feature. Should you change a setting on your phone, like I did I wanted to use this app on data and not on wifi, then the app blocks me out. I have to get a new access number from the bank, which then the app won’t accept no matter how many times I have numbers sent by sms. And then I have no access to my account. Then it’s the branch or waiting forever on hold

This doesn’t happen with the cba app.

Not one. Been with the bank since I was very young - this makes me want to leave
