Pizza Hut AU 4+

The service product and delivery time is always good I would imagine I have orderd from the boonaroo park Pizza Hut over a hundred times and the have not skipped a beat smashes dominos out the water with price and product

The updated app is ooooo kaaaaaaay ??? If that’s your “it’s ok … maybe” reaction, it’s not really that great, right?! The key problem felt like the responsiveness of the app. It’s only small but a seconds delay is too much 😂 I guess we’re spoiled though?

Something about putting in your address and selecting your delivery method when first opening the app, made me check the account tab to ensure I was indeed logged in to my account. I didn’t like that after each selection the menu returns to the top. I think having the option to return to the top should be there, but you should be able continue to browse the menu from the same position when starting the next selection.

The inclusion of the selection item now being visible at the top of the menu is an excellent improvement. It’s very useful to see at a glance what you’ve ordered so far. The clarity of images all round is very good.

If there were other improvements, it was obvious.

Overall it felt a little clunky.

Look, I am a pretty happy go lucky human and easily pleased….
It’s not as though I placed an order and asked it to be ready within 10min’s. I placed the order 3.5 hours before the delivery time but am still sitting here thinking why the app (humans) haven’t managed to get some dough with toppings in a box given they had plenty of warning! It’s like I snuck up and went surprise! Not the case, I have done the right thing, so hey meet me in the middle… I would have been happy with a message saying, apologies! You are a valued customer but It’s been a rough night and we have a queue, we are working on it ASAP. Great - Comms are cheap!
Simple people just need to be simply informed. I have managed to identify a problem and a solution, maybe someone should run with this…
