It’s back and still smooth
Thx apple for restoring this. To think I even started loosing faith in the eco-system. I am controlling my ex-iTunes on my iMac into Bluesound, Ikea’s Symfonisk (Sonos), and my old Airport. So sweet. Thx
Buggy and needs a widget
Works OK most of the time but every now and then it fails to connect to my iMac's music library, for no apparent reason. An hour or so later everything is OK again. And my home Wi-Fi setup is all Apple (the last generation Airport Extreme and 2 last generation Airport Expresses).
Another annoyance is that it has no widget for the home screen. So, if you want to use the app after using other apps, you need to use multitasking to get back to it. And nearly every time you re-enter the app, a grey and unnecessarily huge (like, two thirds of the screen) splash screen appears briefly on top of the UI with the message "Connecting to [Username]'s Library...". That's ugly and irritating.
This app needs some love.
Rate me! Rate me!
Really don’t like the way apps are allowed to bug you to rate / review them. Surely the App Store can collate the data in relation to how many users download an app, keep using it, update it and don’t delete it. Statistically, these people are happy with your app! :| So an app in the store could have stats listed, such as 1,162,814 downloaded this app last year - 1,851 people deleted it within 12 months. I’d call that a successful and popular app. Job done. Don’t bug me for ratings if I’m still using your app. Obviously I like it. If I feel inclined to give you suggestions (that you’ll likely ignore) I’ll go to the App Store and take the time to write down what I think and what has motivated me enough to give you my valuable time, as I have done today ;)
