At Mona we don't have wall labels, we have The O.
The O uses location awareness to locate you in and around the museum and tells you about the work on display. You can choose from ‘Artwank’—a short and pithy, but otherwise traditional, essay; ‘Gonzo’—ramblings from David Walsh and some of his buddies about what the stuff on show means on a more personal level; as well as bite-sized nuggets of info, and interviews with artists. The O allows you to ‘Love’ and ‘Hate’ artworks or you can leave comments to really vent your spleen.
• Join exhibit queues virtually and continue to wander the museum until you're at the front of the queue.
• To coincide with the opening of MINE at Mona on June 8th; The O delivers a unique augmented reality experience.

Super neat App
Really easy to use. Provides comprehensive information about all artworks on display throughout Mona. Works great on my phone and the location awareness works really well inside Mona. Best museum app I've ever used.
Needs more guidance upon arrival
Needs more instructions to connect to the wifi network called 'Mona Free Wifi' when you arrive or it won't work. I was fiddling around for ten minutes on Basement Level 3 before I could get it working. For best experience I recommend turning on airplane mode, then turn on wifi, and turn on Bluetooth. It also seems to work better if you don't use Bluetooth headphones like AirPods
Really good apps and interesting Museum worth to go
Went to the MONA museum and gallary today, and find lots of interesting pieces of masterworks. Best gallary in Australia! Worth to go!
