Your app is sh*!

Your app use to be good, before the station got taken over by the American network and now your app crashes all the time! It’s also totally out of sync! And You miss half the good bits because the app decides when to cut off and start airing your stupid commercials before the segment is even finished!!! Fricken peeved me right off to the point of not even bothering to watch channel 10 anymore. I only usually have access to stream off my phone. Fix your sh*!, it’s 2021, get it together, can’t Be that hard! I also don’t appreciate being forced to update the app or you can’t access content! Some people don’t want to update immediately and some phones don’t support the new updates! So how about letting the app continue to work until we chose to update it like 80% of the other apps do! The end!

Terrible Reliability - Don’t Bother

Spent the entirety of the hour it was put to air trying to live stream the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Got an on-screen message saying “Your live stream will commence shortly”, then after several minutes wait I had to endure 6 ads in a row, got 2 seconds of F1 footage, then back to the “Your live stream will commence shortly screen”. I quit out of the stream and found all other shows on other Network 10 channels stream instantly, but not the F1. Endured another seemingly endless succession of of ads, 2 more seconds of F1, then the “Your live stream will commence shortly” screen again. 10 minutes of waiting, a 1-second glimpse of the F1, then back to the MF ads again. 10 is making money off us, but not delivering the content. Don’t waste your time with this POS.

Step backwards

New update has taken away any ability to save or keep track of shows. Previous version (which wasn’t very good at saving shows to begin with) at least had a “watch later” button and this saved a list of episodes. Now there is nothing and if you want to watch a certain show, you have to search for it each and every time and hope your memory (and/or the thumbnail/description) is good enough so you don’t rewatch an episode you’ve already seen or miss one you haven’t. Every other streaming app that I know of has at least this ability to save a “favourites” list and some sort of indication of episodes you’ve watched. Shame that 10Play has taken a step back in this regard
