I really like the ch selector line down the screen . It’s a great way to see clearly what’s on and when . I only watch abc, sbs or NITV . I cannot stand commercial drivel . Reality tv is cheap manipulated nasty childish rubbish. The news and current affairs programs are in the same basket I want facts not sensationalised chosen pieces manipulated by a biased owner .You have a program guide but I can’t see previous programs so i can’t see what I’ve missed . When I look at catch up there are to many programs to go thru to find what I’ve missed. Being able to see the previous weeks programs would help me to prioritise what I’m going to watch. I’d also like to choose in the app what channels I want . I don’t have a lot of time for tv viewing , when I do I want to find my prog fast as opposed to going thru all the channels and all the programs. I never try to stream to my tv via ph or iPad. My iPad is my go to gadget for streaming . The dropouts during streaming are so common that viewing is a complete and utter waste of time . I refuse to pay Murdoch or any other for what was once free ! I can entertain and amuse my self without the need to feed another insecure billionaire

Really? Really? We now live in the days that has amazing technology and still seems to me that no one is using it properly. This app focuses on users to watch on mobile to save data. Not for streaming at home with unlimited nbn because Chromecasting to a big tv or projector option is there but video quality is poor. Also most frustrating is, there’s no closed captions option at all. Come on!!! Every app developers seems to always forget that there are more than 2 million hard of hearing and deaf people in Australia whom need closed captions. Great for watching live tv on the move using a small mobile screen. Will be awesome if it had closed captions just like every TV. Needs lots of improvements and settings such as closed captions and higher video quality options for home streaming using unlimited nbn. If it had those options then will be cool and awesome to setup a projector in our backyards using chromecast device and this app to watch live football along with deaf friends without setting up a digital tv receiver and fiddling around with antenna cables. I bet many other hearing people will like the idea of watching footy in their backyards that only need 4 things. Projector, screen, chromecast device and Freeview FV app. Come on developers, think a bit harder please. Thanks :-)

I like this app because the channels are clearly defined and the line down the page shows the programmes streaming at the time. I have found that the reminder does not work. When I first downloaded the app and fixed up the sounds and reminders it worked perfectly. However a couple of weeks later... no reminders, no signs so I’ve missed some of my favourite serials. Annoying! I don’t have enough data to be able to watch the shows I’ve missed, so not happy. I’d also like to make a suggestion that all reminders be highlighted in colour on the menu page. This would be seen at a glance that it’s a show to be watched. Hopefully it would be an easy inclusion to do. Apart from the above comments I find this app to be one of the better ones to be had. I only downloaded this app to support the previous reviewer. Failure to include closed captions is Direct Discrimination under the Australian 1992 Disability Discrimination Act as it completely excludes people with disabilities from using the service. This Act is enforceable by law. App Developers: You are breaking the law Deaf Culture do not consider themselves to be disabled. I uphold their right to define their own cultural identity which it is qualified as by using its own unique language. People with deaf cultural affiliations are far from the only disabled people to rely on apps including closed captions and other accessibility features. I am one of them. I am completely sick of apps that don’t consider disabled users. If anyone is likewise annoyed, start by making a complaint to the developer then to Apple. If you get no response from either and no date by which time the app will be updated to be inclusive - make a complaint to your local Human Rights Commission. You can also report paid services to the ACCC as they are not able to be used for the intended purposes. Australian Government has already decided to let disabled community (in the same risk category as aged) go unprotected from Covid19 by taking no protective measures at all or enforcing worker ratios or paid sick leave. So fight disability discrimination everywhere you see it, on our behalf. It really is everywhere, policies in workplaces, education institutions and even government departments are just lip service to meet insurance requirements.
