Description
At Xero, protecting your data is fundamental to everything we do. Just one easily guessed password can stop your business in its tracks. So Xero has put an extra deadbolt on the door to help keep your data secure.
This is why Xero uses MFA to secure logins. It significantly reduces the risk of someone gaining access to your account, even if they’ve managed to obtain your email and password through a phishing attack or malware.
The Xero Verify app is simple to use. You can receive push notifications for fast authentication, instead of having to open the app and enter a code into Xero when you login. Simply accept the notification on your device’s home screen - it’s that easy.

* Sign into your Xero account using push notifications on your device (if enabled).
* Generate six digit verification codes, even if you don’t have a network or mobile connection.
* Use Xero Verify to authenticate your Xero account (it can’t be used on other products outside Xero)

I agree with Ahsatan: why arm I downloading another app? I have 5, now 6 MFA apps on my phone. At least the others work for multiple providers.
Great app
Easy MFA implementation and works seamlessly. To all the haters: get a life. MFA is standard practice across the board now, so get over it. Also you don’t need to use Xero Verify: you can use Authy or Google Authenticate. Also you can use the backup email option. Also you shouldn’t be sharing your login credentials. Set up new accounts for your other users and they can then setup their own MFA. Stop being a baby and learn something about the importance of MFA in security. Lol.
Took me less than 2 mins
Impressed how simple this was with no fluff. Straight security within itself. All Dandy Good! I was however disappointed how hard it is to use Gmail as an authenticator, as Xero suggest you can do. The last thing I need is another app. So hence I am downloading this app, number 84 on my phone. Why won’t the Xero app have its own Intergration of this app, as gmail does? No one likes clutter.

Thanks for leaving a review. The app provides you with push notifications, so you actually dont need to open the app, it will send you a notification which you approve when you log in - so it sits in the background (but yes, it will be number 84 on your device)
