Yoga Nidra is a systematic and scientific method of inducing deep and complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It is an ancient technique based on the time tested principles of yoga and through regular practice one can easily develop a sense of deep relaxation, calmness and peace.

Created by Madhav West, a highly experienced yoga and meditation teacher. Madhav received 4 years full time professional training at the Satyananda Yoga Academy Australia and the Bihar School of Yoga in India in Yogic Science. He is also qualified in the field of Health Science and Naturopathic Medicine.

Excellent yoga nidra app

I have been using the lite version for over two years and I really loved it.
I have also found recently that 10 minutes are sometimes not enough so I finally got the full version.
The 20 min and 30min are great and very effective to help me calm down and clear my mind so I can get to sleep even when under a certain amount of stress.
I cannot say that my sleep quality has improved unfortunately, but when I wake up in the middle of the night and need to clear my mind, the 20min routine is just what I need.

Deeply effective

I have been doing yoga nidra at bed time for about 1 year. Apart from the fact that I sleep like a baby, I believe the practice has impacted my health in a measurable way. Both my mother and brother have trouble with high blood pressure, but medical practitioners continually tell me I have 'textbook' blood pressure, that is, 120 over 80. I thought my reading would have changed radically during the siege at 52 Martin Place as I work there and was extremely upset. But no, a health check that week confirmed 120 over 80. Keep losing it

I love this app. When I really need some down time or to sleep it’s extremely effective. However I’m confused because most apps you download do remain in your phone when you upgrade. I had to wipe and re-setup my last phone and in doing so, lost the app. It wouldn’t let me store it on the computer. So I bought it again. I have now upgraded to a new phone and lost the app again…
