Description

CPS (formerly RxTx) has a new appearance. CPS is still the reliable, evidence-based drug resource it has always been and provides essential drug information at the point-of-care for health care practitioners. Now offering two subscription options – CPS Drug Information or CPS Full Access. CPS Drug Information is the Canadian standard for drug monographs, containing thousands of products including monographs for drugs, vaccines, natural health products and medical devices, approved by Health Canada. CPS Full Access includes all content from CPS Drug Information and the most current, evidence-based therapeutic information and non-prescription therapy for most common conditions, with cross-referenced drug tables and algorithms and DC condition-based drug tables. Both subscriptions types provide critical updates such as warnings and advisories; and useful tools such as medical calculators.

Add a search function for the page being reviewed

There is a general search bar to type in a specific keyword. When the page finally pulls up, there should be another search function that will lead you to the keyword you searched for initially. In this day and age people don’t have the time to search a page manually. Please add this function. Thanks!

Cuts on face ,

Worked just fine until the 6.1 version came then it is just a POS

I was using the RxTx app since Sept 2018 til June 2019 using the 6.0 version. For the reference I was using an enterprise account purchased by the nursing home I work at. It worked perfectly and it was awesome until 6.1 came along. The new version restricted access to only individuai subscription only, meaning if you are using an enterprise account, you are screwed. Such a stupid decision to restrict access from CPhA. They think if you are a student, health care professional, etc, that are sharing an enterprise account, you are not worthy of a customer as individual based account or something.
Needless to say, I deleted this RxTx app. As a NH, we purchase RxTx subscription because we have to, not because we see value in it. Lexicom is way better.

Rx-ONE ,

Very poor service

1- The content is great. After all it reflects the Canadian guidelines.
2- Access to the content and search is a different story. A lot of room for improvement!
3- Every few years app changes name. Very irresponsible.
4- Every single time, the renewal of the subscription is a hustle. You don't even get an email to reset your password.
5- For a subscription worth of almost $800 per year, the service is very poor.
