The Scotiabank mobile app lets you manage, move, and monitor your money using your mobile phone.
When you use Scotiabank’s mobile deposit feature, we will access your device camera to take a picture of your cheque; record the cheque number, account number, institution transit number, and amount; record your device model, as well as its iOS version and manufacturer.
When you download or update this app, or when you apply for, enrol in, or use a service through mobile banking, we may collect information about your computer or device, operating system, internet connection or telephone account, settings, IP address and device locational data, and transaction data, as well as personal information.

The app before was great. Hate that you dropped support for widgets and apple watch for quick views on balances on accounts.
Bring that back in next update.

Would like to give a zero star
Fix this or I’m taking my 30 year business elsewhere. Who is responsible fo making the decisions to release this without many of the previous features we rely on- like future date bill payments. Telling me to login on line is insulting. Why do you have an app?

So many features from the last app are no longer available. Why was the mortgage prepayment option removed? And you can no longer track interest periods (90 days, 180 days, etc) on a momentum savings account. Combined balances are also not available any more. These options were many of the reasons I used the scotiabank app. The new app is frustrating to use and makes online banking much more difficult! I’m very disappointed!
