Nightmare to get taxi on app
If I phone the company I get taxi (cash payment) pretty handy.
If I use the app (card payment) I find it very hard to book a taxi.
Today as an example... I booked a taxi through app... driver picked up job 4 minutes away... drove past my location (was watching on app) carried on driving further and further away... 2 minutes later he cancels my trip... took another 20 minutes for another driver to accept job
Alan the money grabber
I booked a taxi for 7:35am, I got Alan (KU13 WEV). However once I got the call back, he was no where to be seen. I waited out side my house for a good 10 minutes watching his car on the app. Next minute I know, my card was charged £2.50 (paid by card as never have money on me) his car was no where to be seen. I then got another diver.
I rang alpha and they said there was nothing they could do until the next day, I understand. I use alpha a lot. But this had made me not trust them as much if their drivers can just do that. You give a card option but many complain about you using card as they don’t get it right away and make you feel bad.
I know it’s only £2.50 but being a student. I need that 😂

I have used Alpha taxis for over a year now at least 3 to 4 times a week. The only time I have had a problem was one pre booked car did not arrive on time, however I had a call exactly on pick up time to say it will be with you in minutes and it was. All the vehicles are clean and have no distinguished odour. Keep up the good work and I will organise my 4.30 Taxi as usual this afternoon.
