Advisor chat has purposely been made difficult to find

Since the new update they’ve tried to hide the chat option for an actual person to speak to so everything is done by the AI chat. This doesn’t always work as in my situation today, cat litter was left in the rain so the box had broken up and cat litter was leaking out. The AI wouldn’t refund or replace without me sending it back which seemed ridiculous given there was litter coming out of the bag and box. I ended up googling how to find the chat option because it just didn’t seem to be anywhere anymore and it really has been hidden away! It’s just poor! For anyone needing to find it you need to go onto the customer service page, scroll down to ‘something else’ click on ‘see all’ because it’s not in the 5 displayed options, scroll down to 9th in the list and press ‘I need more help’ and then confirm a further 4 times that you still need more help on the chat and eventually you’ll get a real person to speak to (that doesn’t expect you to send wet cat litter back via Royal Mail)

I have had a prime membership for a few years now. They are the most reliant and efficient delivery and shopping service I have used. I recently had a problem with an order when I accidentally made a mistake and selected a wrong size for a matress which as you could expect is a costly item. I was so embarrassed but when I spoke to customer service over the phone they were very gracious and understanding of my situation and immediately helped me solve this issue. I was taken aback by how helpful they truly were especially when it was no fault of their own that I had this issue. It’s great shopping on a site where you truly feel trust and respect for the people who operate it. Overall I’ve had a great experience and since they have been so kind I’ve decided to write this review because they deserve the rating given.
They don’t allow me to unlock my account

My account got locked because they thought that my account was used by someone else. Let’s first talk about my situation: my account has been locked two times already before this and every time I had to wait for almost a week for them to sort it out, I really don’t like how they just lock your account with no reason and now it’s the third time they locked it. My situation now is that I really need all my orders (furniture) to come ASAP as I just came to my new home and I am also going to another country in a few days for Christmas holidays. So I called customer service, after asking all my details which took like half an hour, they told me to wait 24 hours for their other department to sort this thing out as they don’t have the access to unlock my account and once they’re done they will email me. So since I was nice enough and waited for 24 hours at the same time questioning why do they need 24 hours just to unlock an account which is basically for them, just to click a few buttons. So now the second day, after 24 hours, actually even more than 24 hours, still haven’t received the email. So I called them again, this time telling them what happened before hoping that eventually they will sort it out. Unfortunately they told me to wait for another 24 hours as their whatever department needs more time to investigate my account, I asked them why can’t you just connect me to that department and after a few buttons clicked my account would be back, they sadly, ended the call, which is really frustrating. I don’t get why they need so long just to unlock someone’s account and I don’t get why it always happens to me, since they never told me a proper reason why it got locked. I am still waiting to unlock my account right now and I hope as you see this review to sort this out as there might be similar situations like me waiting for an answer.
