I have TWO children in different schools on this and I genuinely hate it it’s completely useless and nothing but a constant pain! They ppl who do Ardor have done NOTHING to make things easier or move between my two children I have two passwords for the SAME account to get between them and its really difficult just to sign in I have biometrics on yet after doing my face it STILL makes me sign in EVERY TIME and Im always having to change the password it takes 10 minutes of messing around to finally get in! EVERY TIME I use it and its even worse now that my youngest school which only had meetings on it now has everything I meant to be able to pick and pay for my youngest lunches through it but that’s more trouble than its worth so now my son has packed lunches thats how bad this app is to use. Ive never hated something so much. My youngest has something i need to pay through the app so yet another 10 minutes of having to remember which password is which.. only to be told to change it yet again. I wish my children’s school would pick ANY other way than this must be dirt cheap to have considering how terrible it is.

It’s hard to believe that the Arbor Parent App went through any serious user acceptance testing or had input from a skilled UX developer. The interface is a nightmare to navigate, with clunky menus and confusing layouts that make even the simplest tasks unnecessarily difficult.One of the most frustrating issues is that the app doesn't notify you when a club or activity is no longer available. You’re left in the dark, with no indication that your child’s activity has ended until it’s too late. This lack of basic functionality is unacceptable in an app meant to streamline communication between parents and schools.Overall, this app feels like it was rushed to market without proper testing or consideration for user experience. It’s the worst app I’ve had the displeasure of using, and I hope the developers take these criticisms seriously and make significant improvements. Until then, it's incredibly frustrating to use.

The app’s interface is not very user friendly. For example I have to scroll through endless amounts of homework assignments dating back to the beginning of the year until I can find the homework that is currently due for my children. Also, I have had problems with booking my child’s parents evening appointments as it is not showing any available time slots for any of the subjects and all of my other child’s parents evening appointments from the last 2 years are appearing in the list to confuse the process even more, even though I am on my other child’s account. Very frustrating as the school have said it’s the only way I can book and I now can’t see my child’s teachers at parents evening and will instead have to receive an email update even though they apparently have available slots. Lots of other parents have been experiencing the same problem.

This App is utterly useless. Every parent in the class is struggling, the office at the school is disparing. No-one can get any elements to work. Whoever keeps rolling this out in schools needs to stop. My specific problems are - I can’t see both my children on the same account. The school have suggested deleting the details and starting again. But I cant even delete the data at my end, the app says the school have to. Both myself and the school have tried to delete the childs data and start again to fix the issue and very worryingly even after deleting everything and starting again I can still see all the old data. So the app clearly doesnt delete data as they legally should do when requested. Also one password will work for the App but not online & vice versa. So I’m constantly logged out. Also if you pay on the portal the school receive the money but the app still says in debt so you have to call the school to check (so the school are inundated with calls). There are parts of the app that say ‘DO NOT USE’ because they can’t navigate their own app to send people to the right place. They will not even allow you to ask for advice on the app or website, they redirect you to the school, even though the school have done everything they can to try and help me and its a purely tech based question. Even after submitting a request for help on the website you get an automated response saying no. They offer zero support to parents but don’t care because they have the schools money by this point. I just want to help my child’s education by receiving relevant emails and responding to the things the school needs from me but this app blocks me at every stage.
