The Benenden Health App can be used by any healthcare member or Healthcare Lite user. The App gives you the reassurance of knowing that wherever you go, Benenden Health is just a few clicks away. The details of the services which may be available to access via the App are detailed in your Guide to Benenden Healthcare or Benenden Healthcare Lite Handbook.
As a Healthcare member you may be able to use our free app to:
- Book and take GP phone and video consultations on the go.
- Submit a request for diagnostics and treatment services.
- Click to call to access our Mental Health Helpline or speak to our Member Services team to request access to physiotherapy services.
- Manage your membership – update your personal details quickly and easily.
- Use the Wellbeing Hub to browse a wide ranging choice of articles, videos, live webinars and classes to support your mental wellbeing, fitness and nutritional health.
- See your rewards and discounts.
As a Healthcare Lite user you may be able to use our free app to:

Important Information
You need to be a Benenden Health member to use this App.
Log into the App using your existing My Benenden username and password. If you don’t have a My Benenden account, you can create an account via the app.

Can’t book GP for child members
My children and I are paid members but the app doesn’t have an option to book GP on their behalf. Tried booking as me but saying was for my child but when GP called they wouldn’t allow it and just cancelled. Spoke with membership services and they suggested creating a separate login for child and pretending to be them. App refused to book appointment (maybe thinks too young? It doesn’t say why). So only option is for me to go through usual “press 1 for blah blah” phone call and describe my child’s medical needs to someone over the phone like the internet didn’t exist. For the sake of a simple menu option in the app that knows I’ve my children as registered members. Booking GP for children not a crazy ask.

I’d already signed up via the website so didn’t have the issues others had & all went smoothly.
The app looks good in general but some of the wellbeing hub pages either just hang or shut the app down if you try to open anything — very frustrating to have to keep logging in repeatedly!
Developers please read the feedback and get on the case.
Wellbeing Classes
I have been using the Wellbeing Classes for some weeks and really appreciate the ability to do them as and when I like. I particularly enjoy the Active Agers and Pilates classes. BUT, the background music in the Pilates is so intrusive. I’ve just had to end a class before it finished because Daniella is talking through a 5 minute relaxation and all I can hear is this repetitive loud, tinny tinkling and drumming and it’s So Loud I can barely hear her. Totally unnecessary and spoilt the class.
