Life Changing

I have worked in the wellness industry for nearly 30-years in mind-body therapies, as a ‘wellness director’ for some of the top retreats in the world. I am a masters-degree educated exercise physiologist and mindfulness coach.

This work (and via the app) has helped me enormously in my personal development. The two main sessions in the app are easy to follow, and offer a shorter and longer breathwork session. The introduction sessions help to piece it all together.

Having met Alan at his retreat, which I attended in October 2022, I can truly say that he is the real deal - authentic and wants the best for anyone who engages in the breathwork, and applies it as an integral part of their lives.

The residential retreat adds meat to the bone, but the essence of what Alan teaches can all be found in the app. Follow it with commitment and discipline, and you will reap the results! It’s by no means a silver bullet, or magic pill. But if you follow the app faithfully and frequently, then changes will come.

Just a shop window

The app is basically just a shop window. He demonstrates the techniques, gives you two sessions (a short one and a longer one) that never change (so every time you do it you get the ‘welcome to your first session’ spiel) and then the only other thing on the app is a sales pitch for an expensive trip to Lanzarote. I’ve actually subscribed online for monthly membership which promised me ‘unlimited access to our complete library of guided audio breath sessions’, and am very disappointed to find that I can’t access those through the app but apparently have to be online to do it through web browser. This is so disappointing, and it looks like these guys have got carried away by their commercial success and are not paying attention to the user experience at all.

Brilliant app

This technique is amazing for healing emotional pain of all kinds. It is easy, quick and very direct. It’s the only breath healing technique I have come across that really works. I have used this in conjunction with my main meditation practise and this is excellent to bring background subtle subconscious feelings into the foreground where Alan’s technique literally releases them. I can barely believe such a technique exists but it worked on me!!!
