Our features include:
• Logging in with TouchID, FaceID or passnumber – its quick and secure
• Save and pay a new payee
• View and delete payees
• Browse over a year’s worth of transactions on your current, savings and loan accounts
• View and delete your scheduled payments
• Make payments to your Co-operative Bank credit card without the need to set up a new payee
• Switch your statement preferences on your current or savings account
• Transfer between your Co-operative Bank accounts
• Pay your saved payees
• Additional steps to protect you from fraud when paying a new payee
• Update your email address and telephone number
• The ability to apply for some products directly
• View up to 7 years of statements for current accounts, savings, ISAs and loans
To gain access to our app you will need to register for online banking if you haven’t already done so. If you have, you will need your username, password and 6-digit security code to access our app.
Is my phone compatible?
For security reasons, you’ll need a compatible device and operating system to use our mobile banking app. You also won’t be able to use the app, if your device is jail broken.
You’ll need an iPhone 5s / iPad Air or newer – running iOS 11.0 or above.
If you are not able to update to this version, you can log into The Co-operative Bank online banking to access your accounts.
To protect our customers we use a range of security measures including the latest encryption technology. Independent security experts have tested the security of our app.
There are still a few things you can do to protect yourself using the app:
• Only download the app from official app stores
• Never share your login details with anyone
• When logging on in a public place, keep your details out of sight
• Always install the latest security and operating system updates
We won’t charge you for downloading or using the app. However, your mobile network provider may charge you for data use, depending on your tariff or contract. Contact your operator for details. You may also use this service when connected to a Wi-Fi network.

We’ve been busy making improvements, fixing minor bugs, including errors and crashes when making payments to give our customers a better experience. This update also brings accessibility enhancements and improvements when applying for a 3 Year Fixed Credit Card. We hope you enjoy using our app.
Ratings and Reviews
I have no issues in general with the app. However, when I try to send money to a friend that runs her own business when I purchase from her, it always asks for my passcode, then says there is a connection error. There isn’t as I can go back to app with no issues and can transfer money between accounts etc . So it won’t let me send money from my app. This means I have to drag my ancient laptop out and log on to the actual online bank. This is frustratingly inconvenient as I can’t send money when out and about. Can this be fixed please? It’s meant to be ‘mobile’ banking after all. However, not very mobile for me at the minute 🙄
Also, I cannot log in with Face ID when I use it to log in with about every other app on my iPhone. It always insists on passcode. I’ve checked every setting in my phone and everything is on as it should be.

This app has been awful for years and shows no signs of improving
I have been a Co-op customer for years and their internet banking app is the biggest frustration banking with them. There have been issues using their app for as long as I can remember and it’s disappointing it appears very little is being done to rectify these. Whenever I go to login, there is a 1/10 chance that the app will actually load and log me in (and this isn’t because I’ve inputted a password incorrectly). And the majority of the time once I’ve logged in, as soon as I click to view my account the app crashes. It’s so unreliable to the point it’s almost not worth using and have to use a laptop for internet banking.
I am writing this review in the hopes Co-op can put the necessary time and investment into providing their customers with a reliable internet banking app and see some progress. In this day and age it’s what’s expected and really falling short in regards to what other banks offer out there. I love banking with Co-op because of their values but it makes you question jumping ship if they can’t provide a better service here. Which is a shame as I am such a happy customer otherwise, and really rate their customer service as some of the best out there.

Revised review-Still the worst banking app out there
I wrote a review a few weeks ago about this totally incompetent app. I was told by developers that the fact I have to re-register EVERY time I want to check my bank account was experienced by a few customers and it was being looked into. I still can’t check my account without logins, use of a card reader etc and I’m giving up. I am actively looking to switch banks to a company that is keeping up with the digital times we live in.
Sort your act out Co-Op!
The old app was absolutely diabolical and unfortunately the new app is just as frustrating. Every time I try to use the app I have to completely reregister my details as for some reason it says my passcode has timed out. I then have to re-submit all y details which takes time, doesn’t always work and means I end up giving up and not looking at my account. I find this incredibly annoying as I like to keep on top on my finances but feel like I’d be better off going back to an account book and pen that trying to use this app. It would be more user friendly and a faster way to keep track of my finances!
I’m seriously thinking of moving my bank account to a bank that is more up to speed with its technology!
