Bad App

Installed my lock , added the fob and card, when it came to adding the App and phone key that was a nightmare and as of yet still not managed it even after 2 reset of the lock, re-download and registrations I am no further. All I keep getting is error 3 then error 9... I give up, I can’t send keys or register any using the App so now only have the fobs.. rubbish App, doesn’t work for me. Now to try the support site as in the previous review.. come on Yale, £250+ for a lock and the App is so poor..

Since being in touch with Yale support which I have add was extremely helpful and replied to all my questions. I have been able to setup the App, I do feel that it could still be a little easier as I had to reset the lock and add all my fobs and cards in one go. I would like the ability to be able to add further fobs without the need to reset everything, overall the App is working and Yale support was great.

Since the above and with the new app being installed which is now worse as I don’t have ANY of my 5 free keys, I can’t buy any because it crashes. Wish I could get a refund on this product , under most circumstances with most other items you would buy you would complain that it’s not fit for purpose as the App doesn’t do what it is supposed to do , well not supply further keys or buy them... terrible App, nice lock but now need more fobs as a reserve.

Absolute Garbage.

The one star review I am leaving is too generous, if anything. I purchased this lock with the premise that I’d be able to use it with my phone. I have been using with the fobs/cards for a week or so with great success, however there are other (cheaper) locks on the market which offer fob-only for less.

The app is probably one of the worst apps I have ever had the displeasure of using. I assumed when spending £200+ on a piece of hardware backed by a large name such as Yale, the software would be average, at least, to accompany the hardware. Admittedly, Yale are lock makers and not app developers, but you’d think they would invest in the development instead of giving the job to the work experience lad.

As for what’s wrong? I downloaded the app initially, and began my registration. I checked my email for the confirmation and it did not work. “Invalid token,” I tried this several more times before giving up only for it to work several days later. After I managed to log on, I went to add my lock only to be told “an error is occurring.” There is nothing to explain what the error is, nor how I can rectify it. I have tried this multiple times over a few days with nothing moving forward. It also asks me to dial a customer service number, which of course is in American format which is great for me, living in England.

App breaks the Lock- Do not Use!!

I bought 2 Conexis locks, installed them and used them for 2 weeks with fobs without an issue! I then installed the App against all advise of any other negative reviews on here... I should have listened! My fobs all stopped working, I was not able to add any fobs to the App and the unlocking from the App worked once and then stopped working and our we were locked out. Luckily one of us was inside when this problem got noticed!
We called support and no matter what we tried we could not get it to work with the App. I suggested to hard reset the lock which after deleting the App and this gave me the possibility to add some of my fobs again. The two smart cards and 2 fobs that came with my locks are not working anymore as well as one additional one. Luckily I was able to sync 3 remaining fobs to the locks.
I spend a whole evening on the phone with support who were absolutely clueless, had to take the lock apart again to hard reset both and now got two key cards and 3 fobs that are not working anymore.
All thanks to the App! So please be warned unless you like stress and drama don’t download the app!!!!!
