Finally have the lock I purchased.
Thank you for fixing it and making it work.
I bought a Conexis L1 a bit back and was gutted how the old conexis app was so poor you couldn’t do the basics of just registering new contactless keys. It was so poor, clunky and just didn’t work. Had to dismantle my lock and do factory resets many time after recalling all keys just to add another one. It was such a faff!
Thankfully they’ve done away with that garbage and provided a new hardware module and accompanying app in the form of Yale Home that actually works. Does its job. Was so easy to setup and get running by comparison. Adding and removing keys is now a breeze and its even added some new features. Night and day difference. Dev team, well done.
Would give zero stars if I could
This app is just as bad as the previous connex 1 app. Honestly, a company your size and wealth and you can’t get your apps to work properly? You need to sack your app developer, no seriously!
Ever since I brought two smart door locks from you about 18 months ago, I have had problem after problem and the worst part is I can’t physically talk to anybody about it. The locks work fine, it’s the apps. I have brought multiple ‘credits’ which keep disappearing. The app doesn’t register the fobs I have. I brought it so that my kids could use their phones to unlock the door, haven’t been able to use that function at all. Now I’m trying to migrate over to the new app and it keeps messing me around, doesn’t recognise password, other times it doesn’t recognise my email or phone number. Keeps giving me error codes. I’ve spent nearly two hours trying to sort this out and I give up. Honestly, I’m just going to scrap the locks and go back to good old fashion keys. You have cost me money and time. DO NOT BUY ANY ITEMS FROM YALE WITH A SMART FUNCTION, READ THE REVIEWS FIRST AND YOU WILL SEE THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. Absolute joke!

New version full of bugs
Someone tell the product owners and developers that THE DEADLINE IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE APP WORKING AND YOU DONT USE THE PUBLIC AS BETA TESTERS WHEN IT COMES TO SECURITY!!!
This new version is full of bugs from signin to timeout errors to automatic quitting (iPhone 13 pro) and has NO NEW FEATURES! You should sell your whole IT to a competent company who can drive stability and quality. This App is as bad as Yale smart locks themselves, I can say because I invested £3000+ in Yale smart locks for my company and we have nothing but problems, this is just another one to add to the list. Warning to potential customers, stay away from these locks and this app. These Yale smart locks and App aren’t even manufactured by Yale, infact it’s a company called August in America (who apparently own Yale) which is why the UK support for smart locks is so poor because they know nothing of the technical specifications. These locks disconnect consistently, keypads stop responding, app full of bugs, I regret every bit of investing in them because they were called “Yale”. Biggest mistake. If you don’t want to trust my statement, spend your money with them and learn the hard way!
