Don’t give up on home automation!
When I discovered Controller For HomeKit I had been wrestling with home automation for more than a year with varying degrees of success, and more than a little frustration! I was about to throw in the towel! Sometimes my setup remained stable for a couple of months, but more often it would crash within hours for no reason that’s ever become obvious. Constantly rebuilding the automation became tedious to say the least. I can’t be sure if the problems lie within my accessories or HomeKit itself, but for now everything is stable. With a little practice Controller For HomeKit is very intuitive to use and it soon becomes apparent just how powerful and flexible the automation options are. I’m sure that the ability to create and restore backups will prove to be not only a massive timesaver in the event of a system crash but, if required, will also facilitate the option to create multiple scenarios. I love it!

Fantastic app!
This app just saved me hours after, for what appears to be no reason, Apple Home deleted a load of my automations! As I take monthly backups using this app I was able to simply restore in a couple of minutes (less if I’d done the entire home) and we’re back up and running again! Worth every penny… keep up the good work team, your app has just become a non-negotiable, must have in our house.

No way to contact anyone for help
This app seems great - the backup/restore feature is a helpful addition - but there’s no help menu to explain the context of features/buttons e.g. what does ‘deactivate after automation’ do? Nor is there an option to contact support - would expect that for an app in this price category. May seem like a simple question but am trying to get Hue lights turn on after sunset and before sunrise and it seems to be a hit and miss to get this working consistently, trying every possible option to see if this adds reliability.
Update: found the support option on the website, now a 5 star rating :)
