Please add a digital membership card
The app has improved compared to the old one but it is missing a vital feature……….a digital membership card that can be used to enter the store and scan at the till, and have digital receipts added to your account.
Please, please include this feature along with the ability to add to Apple Wallet as opposed to having to open up the Costco App when entering the store. Would be 4/5 star if this feature was added.
Good, but needs digital membership card
The app loads nice and fast, and navigation is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. But it feels very disconnected from the physical stores. For example, the product range is very limited compared to in-store.
Mine keeps recommending I upgrade my membership to the same membership I already have, so that’s weird. (Using latest iOS, valid membership and auto-renew is active)
Overall a good and working app, but it could be made a lot more useful by adding a wider product range, a digital membership card and an in-store order history.
Digital card is great, but no Wallet support!
They finally switched to allowing you to use a digital membership card just on the app! Gone are the days of showing up at the membership counter to ask for a little piece of paper with your number on it!
However they’ve not yet fully implemented it properly, as there’s no support for adding the card to Apple Wallet, and the card does not work on the fuel stations either, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to use it!
