This app uses the Apple subscription service under which subscriptions are automatically renewed. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

Have your edition automatically downloaded overnight, so it’s available by 4am GMT. To get this feature, agree to receiving ‘notifications’ when prompted during the subscription processes or turn them on from the Settings on your device.
Press SETTINGS and in the menu column on the left scroll down until you see The Mail app to access the settings for the app.

Mail plus

Why, oh why has the font/print format changed(for the worse)? Front page is as it was but when you click on an individual article the print format changes and is not reader friendly. I have tried and tried to raise this query with Mail+ customer services but NO ONE EVER RESPONDS. I tried to get advice from the Comunity Services Hub but unfortunately all I got was comment that I might have got the Scottish version which I have not. Please restore the old print format. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Great daily newspaper - with some exciting perks

I have been reading the daily mail for several years and I’ve had the app edition for around a year. There are many aspects of the app which make it more accessible & insightful than the tangible print newspaper, so I’d recommend it to anyone thinking about switching. I love that you can watch video clips & hear current affairs through audio clips (it’s great for when I’ve forgotten my glasses!!). I also find the newspaper more accessible when I’m out and about - much better than picking up a random newspaper at the station - especially in the current climate...makes it worth the subscription. My favourite aspect of the app is the puzzles which are great fun and got me through lockdown. I especially love the crossword & would recommend it to any crossword fanatics as it is a good balance of challenging, but not impossible. I have also noticed the app had a re-branding which has made the quality of the app much better - also more easy to distinguish from the other Daily Mail breaking news app (which I also have). I’m not sure why people are having trouble with the app crashing (I’ve never had that issue, but maybe their devices haven’t been updated ?). To sum up, I would recommend this app to anyone keen to read an informative daily newspaper (it’s easy to read & well structured) I should also add that the app addition is cheaper & safer than ordering the print newspaper. Rubbish support

Have been using this App for several years. A year ago it suddenly told me I wasn’t a subscriber despite having auto renewed my subscription a week previously.
After an age ringing support they got me back up and running two days later!
On 5/6/20 I had an email saying to try the new competition and win a prize. The email stated it worked on the Mail+ digital edition. I don’t normally do competition but the clunky gold button was there to touch so touch I did. Up came a screen saying you don’t have a valid subscription. As I still have two weeks left before auto renew that is obviously wrong.
I emailed support but got a reply from a “helper” advising that I should take out a subscription. When I then tried to download today’s early edition up came “you do not have a valid subscription “. I emailed again and another “helper” who apparently gives free support but isn’t an employee replied that if I subscribe via Apple then I can’t enter the competitions, I should cancel any Apple subscription and pay directly. My subscription is with the Mail directly so one step forward two back.
I have sent a third email but won’t hold my breath of getting a reply that resolves my being locked out.
