STILL Much work to do!

Latest update changes the look of the UI but even though I didn’t think functionality could get any worse it has!!

Do Firefly actually test their app updates before release?!? I seriously doubt it, absolutely appalling! Get some professionals in to fix this as you’re clearly out of your depth!!

The last update partially fixed the display of homework as in it would only load and display when you turn the phone into landscape and back to portrait! However, it’s still sporadic and still needs fixing. The most annoying ‘feature’ is the insistence on sending multiple notifications for the same single message. Today I received 5 notifications in 4 minutes for a single school bulletin message! Don’t get me wrong, pretty much all of these school homework apps are rubbish and so you’re all on a level playing field, what’s annoying is that there are so many users for these apps yet there seems to be so little support to update and improve them or to listen to the feedback to do the same.

Great idea but frustrating app

A simple idea (communication between school and parents) so poorly executed that it actually causes more confusion. No-one appears to have considered the volume of interactions (we receive) from schools so finding a ‘recent’ message (or is it a bookmark??) that you noted but wanted to read at another time is almost impossible to locate. Viewing a letter (pdf) is quite a drawn out process, the app simply cannot seem to render some pages (usually tasks) on mobile devices (although it can have some success if you flip your phone to landscape) and now I even find that the view of outstanding work is not synchronised so my parent’s view of tasks differs significantly from my daughters.

Can’t even see the timetable

Terrible app. Needs to be rewritten from the ground up.

Consider this - It’s an app designed for schools which can’t even display the timetable in a single view. Only two days per week and even then half the days lessons overlap so you can’t read the details. This is basic basic stuff guys. Very poor. Your website isn’t properly responsive either..

I would say there is a big danger for your market position to be overtaken if someone else enters with a decent UX…. Presumably you are only selling at the moment because of the lack of alternatives…
