Version 3.4.0
This update sees the launch of Push Notifications on the Grand Central app.
The app will keep you updated on the status of your train journey, so you will know whether your train is on time before your departure.
Notifications are available for all Advance tickets bought on the Grand Central app or website, but you can also be updated on any train journey via the Live Trains section of the app. Just hit the bell symbol to be notified.
You will need to update the app and enable notifications on your mobile device.
This app update has also fixed some bugs and improved performance.

Great app, helpful support
I chose Grand Central because, unlike other companies, they don’t charge a booking fee (big plus). It’s easy to find services and the best fares. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my most recent booking and rang the help line. The person I spoke to was friendly and very helpful and arranged a refund straight away. It’s the sort of excellent customer service which backs up an excellent app and I really recommend it
Saved address
Great app, better than other services used. Issue with the saved address box but otherwise really simple to use
Temperamental App - be wary!
Sometimes the app opens fine and sometimes it doesn't and just keeps loading, saying 'please wait a moment'. Which is unhelpful when needing to get through ticket barriers or on a train needing to show the conductor a ticket.
I would advise to avoid relying on the app and use the option of picking up your ticket at the machines. Or if you do get the app, make sure to screenshot your ticket when the app is working in case it stops working during your journey!
