This is well worth the money and will give you strategists out there plenty of hours/days/months/years! Of gameplay. I loved this game when it came out for pc all those years ago and this iPad version feels even better to use. It’s smooth and touch screen intuitive. Took me a while to work out the controls but worth it! Don’t be put off if you begin to lose at some point… the worst thing you can do is begin a new game. I recommend persevering as the game can turn on a dime… there’s nothing better than fighting back after a tough few hours surviving and then beginning to conquer everything. This game builds character and you have to earn it to win it! Enjoy the ups and the downs and you will reap the rewards eventually. Don’t give up!!!
Need More factions,
Taher93
I waited 2 years for this to come out on mobile! Finally I can play it from anywhere. Please add more factions to the game such as Mongols, Timurids, Normans, Aztecs and so on.Also I want to mention, during the battle, you can’t use the left part of the screen with two fingers to align a large army. It doesn’t register that for some reason. So I have to use my to fingers and hold the middle part of the screen and pan all the way to the right of the screen. So my front line isn’t very wide because of this. It might just be my device only (iPhone 11 pro max) but please address this issue and I’m hoping it gets fixed.Thank you for releasing the game and best of luck!

Thanks for your purchase of Total War: MEDIEVAL II.All factions can also be unlocked via your device’s Settings app by selecting MEDIEVAL II from the list of installed apps, and then enabling Unlock All Factions. 17 factions are then playable in the Grand Campaign, with a further 4 available in Custom Battle. This matches the available factions in the original desktop version of the game.If you are using the older method of adjusting formations, please ensure that you release both fingers at the same time rather than just one to execute the command. We are looking to resolve any usability issues with this method in the first update for the game. The new Positioning Mode also allows you to easily change a selected unit's formation width, depth and facing direction:- Tap & hold a unit or group to highlight them- Tap and drag the square boxes in the corners to set the desired formation and direction- Tap on tick button to confirmPlease let us know if you require any further assistance via Contact Support, found via Help and Support in the Main Menu of the game.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. I cannot express how much I love this game such as the other total war games. The expansion was a great add on to this game and it was really fantastic to play new campaigns and factions all in one app! I hope your fantastic team of developers keep making total war games such as this absolute treasury. I wanted to suggest maybe you could go create another total war game which depths into the shogun, chinese, japanese related factions. That would be another crazy rts game which all the fans may love such as many of your other total war creations. Keep up the good work!

Brilliant game but no where near as good as a port as the Rome port
no u123
Clearly development on this game started with an early build of the Rome port as many many bugs that were patched in that game still exist here. Not to mention the UI for this game is so much worse than the UI for the Rome port it’s actually comical - all you have to do to fix it is copy Romes ui and change the style of the graphics. Everything is very slightly harder, something as simple as lowering tax laws now requires you to keep tapping the button to go back to the lowest taxes and you tap it up from there. If you keep tapping to try and get the most efficient tax laws but go one over, well, go back again. It’s such a small problem but the game is riddled with these.Moving units is significantly harder and more janky than in the Rome port, construction is slightly more annoying, mercenary’s are more annoying etc. Also removing features that not only exist in the original game but also in the Rome port like transferring retinues. The stupid new general pictures are significantly worse and look like they were made by ai.And how do you add even more bugs and terrible path finding than not only the original but also the Rome port? It would be incredibly laughably bad if not for the times it costs you battlesIt’s still a very fun game because at the end of the day it’d still medieval 2 total war, but I bought the Rome port on day 1 of its release and I loved it. I did the same for this game but it’s safe to say I am not going to be doing that for any further releases since they won’t have the benefit of being Medieval 2 and there clearly isn’t any where near as much effort put in as there should be for a game priced over a tenner on the App Store.
