How does it work?
1. Download this app and create an account (if you're below the age of data consent, your parent will need to create an account for you from their Revolut app. You can check the age of data consent in your country below)
2. Get approved by your parent or guardian
3. Choose a debit card and customise it with text, stickers, and your own sketches (personalisation fees may apply), then order it from your parent's app
4. Add your card to Apple or Google Wallet to start spending straight away (minimum age restriction applies)
Parents and guardians, this part's for you ↓
With Revolut, they can manage their money independently, under your supervision.
Teens above the age of data consent can sign up themselves, but you'll have access to security controls, like spending notifications, in-app card freezes, and many other features to give you peace of mind.
If you have teens below the age of data consent, you can create an account for them from your Revolut app. Here’s how:
1. Have them download this app and create an account
2. Approve their account from your Revolut app
3. Order their prepaid debit card from your app (personalisation fees may apply)

I love this app because it helps me manage my money and save it. I can set target or my parents can at least and all I know I can go shopping. I’m under 18 and I can’t spend my card at public places well not public places but like pubs just because you can buy alcohol from them even though I’m not buying alcohol I think I would recommend this to 5 and under and one improvement I would make to the thing is that you can buy things from pubs and make it so that kids under 18 can have different colours than yellow cause yellow is not my favourite or one hour would prefer so I’m not saying this to people who probably would like yellow but green red blue pink might be best to add as well with all your respect by
Consistently inconvenient but had some good sides

Negative:The card becomes blocked very easily - for withdrawing only £100 - or spending more that a certain threshold online. It also has very poor rates for cash withdrawal, taking up to 5% on free withdrawal ATMs.Limits the amount of money that can be put into the account and this is impossible to change. Therefore, forcing me to switch bank and hold cash in the mean time. I think the value that the account became locked was at 3k but I’m not sure whether that’s dependent on how fast that comes into the account or where the money is transferred from ext…It’s also impossible to make your own bank transfers with the under 18 account and must be done through a guardians account which made many transactions become unnecessarily complicated. Finally it declines in certain corner shops, markets and pubs - I think if they are registered as selling alcohol which I understand is a useful feature for parents but becomes annoying when your just trying to buy a coffee. Positive:On the other hand, it is convenient when travelling. You don’t have to pay exchange rates and I found some parts of the app useful such as the quick notifications.Overall the app is well put together but it’s just very inconvenient (dependent on how your using the app), as someone who both spends a lot and was using the account to run businesses the bank was incredibly annoying but if it’s just for a young person spending and withdrawing only small amounts of money I think it’s alright.
Can anyone help with this bug?

I love the app and have been using it for a while now. However, I went on recently and found that it will not let me on the app, it says ‘We’re sorry, something has gone wrong. Please try again later’ I cannot access any of my money or savings this is extremely annoying as I have run out of money on my main balance and have no way of adding more on other than my parents sending me money to my main account. I have tried to fix it multiple times in different ways, I waited as it said (2 days) and it was the same, I restarted my phone, I updated the app and I refreshed it about 100 times. This could possibly be due to the fact that it stopped around when I went to a different country but I have no idea. If anyone knows hope to fix it or how to get help that would be really helpful.

I've been using Revolut <18, and it's been an absolutely seamless experience! The app is super easy to navigate, lightning-fast, and thoughtfully designed. I love how everything is well-curated, making banking effortless and fun. Their customer service is outstanding—quick, helpful, and always ready to assist. One of my favorite features is the ability to customize my own card—such a cool personal touch! Managing my money has never been this smooth, and I highly recommend Revolut <18 to anyone looking for a modern, reliable, and user-friendly banking experience. I came across so many banking apps for teens and this was the best one so far. Kudos to the Revolut team Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
