App has a few issues as highlighted in other review, but concept is great and I’m sure in time has huge potential. Where things are lacking is when the end user has an issue. Response times are slow (3+ weeks to support email). This is a problem when the app is marketed to build motivation to walk your dog more regularly and then you hit a wall if the app locks out or your microchip won’t upload etc. not very motivating. Like I say, app is good so would recommend as long as everything is working!, it’s just the customer service that is dreadful (even for something free, it’s poor!). I have an outstanding issue logged 3 weeks ago, 3 follow up emails sent and still no reply. The issue is because the photo recognition won’t “accept” the microchip number. Easy fix, the app even tells you to email support in the event this happens. Yet I’m still waiting, and my chase emails are cluttering up the work queue.

I’ve used this app for 3.5 years and seen it go from a brilliant app I would recommend to everyone, to something there is absolutely no point using now. Used to be a great way to track your dogs walks and get some vouchers out of it, then they added subscriptions and dropped the points value - luckily I was already insured through the dog insurance they deem worthy so I automatically had the premium subscription, so it was fine. Less vouchers but still getting rewards out of it. Then, at 3am on 1st July, I received an email saying “as of the 1st July we are changing the system” basically now there’s no vouchers and no incentives whatsoever. Very sneaky of them to put this into action and THEN email their customer base to let them know, meaning any points you were saving up for vouchers were now pointless. I noticed they closed the FB group as of the 29th June - they got enough pushback from bringing in the subscriptions, obviously weren’t prepared to hear from everyone once they rolled this new system out. Now there’s absolutely no reason to use the app - half the time the walks don’t track, or cut out mid way through saving, it’s incredibly not user friendly with a million buttons to click just to start or finish a walk, and you don’t even get any vouchers back! Would love to know what they thought was going to happen when they rolled this update out - clearly no one is going to carry on using the app, so well done Biscuit on completely obliterating your own business model.

Well, I have been using the biscuit app for around just over three years and I used to enjoy turning on the app and my Strava and going out for nice long walks for my dog. It wasn’t just for the wonderful benefits of exercising me and my dog, but I was earning biscuits to change up for vouchers to spend in the limited, but still useful selection of retailers. Then in July 2026 the biscuit app users were slapped with a notice basically saying “Ok, we’re converting your current biscuits to vouchers but you’re not going to be able to use them for vouchers from this point”. The fun ride was over. Suddenly users weren’t earning anything more than 25% discounts at food and drink places and getting competition entries. Yup, you read that right, entries. No guarantees, just use your entries in the system and you MIGHT win a voucher. *Insert Roblox ooof here*. Well I think when my year of biscuit plus ends in October I will be deleting this app and never looking back. I’ve never been lucky in competitions and I seriously doubt that I will win any vouchers. So I am just going to stick to free competitions that you find on food packets, thank you very much. I’ll have just as much luck there. Oh and as for the discounts for food and drink…I don’t use those places. Thanks for the fun while it lasted.

I can’t complain too much about the app and it does deliver what it promises- I’ve gotten countless deliveroo/just eat vouchers just from walking my dog. However, the app recently has been quite buggy and there were a lot of days where my walks weren’t saving at all. To add insult to injury, they removed the reward you get for meeting your weekly goal (50 points or “biscuits”) and replaced them with Quests, which are much more difficult to complete and don’t seem to reward you with any points/biscuits. Instead the quests give you “stars” which you can’t go anything with. I believe you get biscuits for finishing a “chapter” of quests, which will be 7 quests and each quest containing 3 tasks (having to walk your dog at certain times, keep your streak up, walk a certain distance etc.) Then the amount of biscuits/points you get at the end of all that is the same amount of points you used to get for hitting your weekly goal, which for my dog was walk him for an hour a day for three days. Finally, the amount of biscuits you have to pay for a reward goes up now and then too which overall has decreased my motivation to keep up with the app as it feels like my points are stagnating.
