Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly.
Websites in Safari will look clean, load fast, and stop invisibly tracking you. You’ll notice significant improvements to your battery life and data usage. Setup is a snap.
Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Bosnian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
Wipr is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark, Tinted, and Clear icon variants are included. Family Sharing is supported.
Because it’s developed by a single independent developer and 100% funded by its users, Wipr only answers to you: no one can pay to have their ads unblocked, and there are no “acceptable ads”.
This app was made with love and patience. I hope you’ll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it.

I used the original Wipr for some time. I have spent the last couple of years using NextDNS, but have finally got fed up with chasing the broken sites and decided to give Wipr 2 a try out. It’s a different experience, it just sits there in the background, and seems to just do what it needs to, no fuss or bother, no need to mess around with white/black lists. For sure, perhaps one of the other filter lists could be considered, but in my experience, you can mess round with any of them, and still have issues (either with broken or missed elements). I tend to use Apple products for my daily use, so no need to install other options. If you mainly use Safari, Wipr 2 is the way to go it seems. Well done, and thank you.
Excellent

Our home network is a full Unifi setup with IDS/IPS and deep packet inspection with cyberpoint secure enabled and also have a pi-hole and unbound DNS server, but even with all this, I was surprised how well Wipr 2 did when testing on an Adblock tester website. Close to 100% and even better than the hardware solutions. Away from home networks this is a must, it will actually make you feel like your browser/connection is faster. The developer has done an excellent job and best of all, it’s not a subscription service, so he/she deserves your support and you and your family deserve a faster, better, safer internet experience. I have already ensure my family have installed it. (It’s a breeze to do btw)
The internet works now

Oh woah. The other adblockers require the price of this app per month and don’t necessarily work; for one one-off payment, the internet is useable again. Even recipe websites are legible and easy to use. Before this, despite having an adblocker installed, every website would be asphyxiated and unusable beneath a deluge of flashing video ads and unnavigable cookie prompts. With this app you can simply browse the internet, load web pages, read information, and perform such other tasks as are nowadays unimaginable due to the reams of SUBSCRIBE TO THIS PYRAMID SCAM NOW ONE INVESTMENT OF YOUR MOTHER’s MORTGAGE AND YOUR DISEASED UGLY DISGUSTING SOUL WILL BE EARNING DUBAI MILLIONS IN SPACE videos that this app reduces to a fading nightmare-memory.
Insane a single person can make something so perfect but…

I am in absolute disbelief that this app runs so amazingly well and on all my devices so fluently. As soon as I saw the positive reviews I instantly bought it and I almost never buy apps since I’m skeptical and only leave a few reviews but this single developer definitely deserves all the praise. However IDK if it’s possible to stop sites from opening different windows on a few sites I use to stream *clears throat* “legal sites” to watch shows and movies. Amazing app and continue to do the awesome work you’re doing :)
