I find the search feature on this app to be one of the worst I have ever encountered, if you type in the exact title of a course, and the date, you still find yourself scrolling for ages. I find the experience slightly less aggravating when using the website, until that is you find the course you want, click on it and find yourself instantly transported to….the app, where you then have to start the search process all over again!Having eventually located what you wanted - god forbid it’s a free online event because trying to register is very much more miss than hit. I would have given this app 1 star if it wasn’t for the fact that it is used as a platform for so many great courses. Obviously the hosting side of the business is much less hassle free than the booking side.

I love, love, love Eventbrite. It has absolutely revolutionised my life. Have taken part in life changing creative workshops and business seminars. When friends outside London are visiting we’ve gone to fantastic festivals, markets and theatre performances. Did I mention I’ve met some great people along the way too and that in some cases we’ve become good friends?Eventbrite is the best event resource any city could wish for, not just London, have travelled to other cities to take part in events and I’m always recommending friends and family to check it out. Getting the app is an absolute must, very easy to use, to be honest, it’s a bit addictive, so many fun and practical things to take part in.Eventbrite makes finding the things you love to do so easy. You may also find things you wouldn’t normally do, for me that was cartoon sketching classes that was a blast! There are so many exciting adventures and Eventbrite connects you too them, literally a click away. Go for it and have the best time enjoying the things you love and learning something new in your city. Eventbrite will enrich your life. Big thanks.
Takes ages

Takes a long time to make an event, and then won’t let you make more than one, as the screens freeze after making an publishing one. Usually have to come back a few hours later and have another go. A few weird screen setting bugs mean the very detailed screens don’t always display well on a smart phone. Generally not too bad but you have to have all your text pre made so you can just copy paste into the forms and boxes and even then sometimes the whole thin hangs because the drag and drop for photos (event photo banners and headers) decides not to work. Could be less temperamental and there’s no function to report something not working. If it is then great (but tideous) if not tough. Occasionally does weird things to ticket sales times ending them early or not starting them at all. Again, you have to go back and check your events are as you wanted them and have the right dates/times etc.
Layout only available as portrait view format!!of tickets etc

It’s time to produce a landscape format instead of the Portrait version you have for Eventbrite. Landscape is not suitable as the only format available & is extremely annoying for people working on an iPad when accessing tickets & info on events! My computer programmer friend tells me friend tells me it is a cheap option!!?Having filled in one’s details in landscape & you go to tickets it switches itself by itself & is not available any other way. Very annoying!Other than that, it not possible to fill in ones details that can be saved & used again. One is constantly retyping same information again & again, (especially the medical form), every time one books a new event. Couldn’t you save details for all classes of same type so they can be used again. The site is not the easiest to use & can be frustrating when awaiting for ID & passcodes for the class. Newcomers need to have it spelt out that tickets DO NOT actually have the information to access the class booked. It needs to be spelt out more clearly that you have to wait sometimes only 10 mins before class to get access information.Reminders that access is via Zoom & not through Eventbrite website!!! (For those of us less savvy, this would have saved a lot of time & initially fewer classes missed due to misunderstanding)!!?Some classes/presenters produce their own direct website link which makes it a lot easier! The availability of events however is extraordinarily wide & varied & has been a godsend during lockdown, especially for those of us seeking free events due to no furlough or current job!!
