Bug fixes and performance improvements

This is the one you’ve been waiting for - improved BACK button behaviour ! It will now return to the previous view rather than back to where you started We’ve also tweaked under the hood, improving your overall In-App experience

We've really focused on performance, particularly around editions, in this version: • Improvements to downloading - editions download faster ! • Improved performance on older iOS devices Downloads will also trigger ahead of time so it's on your device when you want to read it :)

What’s new? We’ve given the app a big update with these new features: New Puzzles: In addition to the puzzles pages and supplements you already get with the paper, we’ve added a new interactive puzzles section to the app. You can train your brain with crosswords, cryptic puzzles and sudoku by clicking on the Puzzles icon in the middle of the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. You’ll be able to find a week’s worth of puzzles in there - simply tap the one you want to tackle. Select a square in the puzzle to highlight the relevant clue, tap again to bring up the keyboard to enter your answer. The menu at the top right of the puzzle lets you check your answers, change the font, save the game and find a step-by-step guide on how it works. Latest news: As well as everything from the day’s paper, you can keep up-to-date with all latest news inside the app. Click on the Latest button in the navigation bar at the bottom and you’ll see a feed of all our up-to-the-minute stories which you can read and enjoy ad-free.
