Love the Game. Played the PC version in the past and more recently the mac version. Happy to try iPad.Strange that sound only works with headphones. Why? Would get 5 stars but for that anomaly.Please fix / check. Sound works fine in other applications.I am on an iPad Pro.

Best Sequel on IOS

Just as Baldur’s Gate 1 EE is amazing in every right then so is the sequel. The original BG2 expanded on the first and was critically considered much improved then so is the EE. The Black Pits II returns as a unique campaign that lets you test high level characters but this version has a much more involved story which is pretty interesting. There are quests with multiple ways to approach, a unique antagonist and colorful bunch of characters. Really very involved and a great surprise.Really stellar stuff was the original game so this is now ‘Improved really stellar stuff’. Without a doubt the best version to play and great compatibility with phones that doesn’t suffer the curse of low effort IOS ports. Must have for any RPG fan.

To think there were games this good back in 98 that missed! Wish I could have experienced it then. If your looking for a meaty rpg with depth and replay ability this is an easy sell. There’s a reason many class it as the best rpg even over Skyrim etc so grateful these devs have given this experience one the best platform for it..the iPad 12.9 pro. Although they run flawless on my original iPad 2 from 2011!

This is the original game, brilliantly adapted for touch-screens and touch controls. A fully unadulterated experience, you can do everything you expect, including multiplayer. The only thing I’d like to see is iCloud syncing for saves. I do lament that I can’t just pick up where I left off on my iPad using my iPhone.

Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition 2.7 patch improves the overall quality-of-life experience, bringing new languages, smoother mobile UI, restored iOS purchase syncing, easier mobile modding & file transferring, and more. The game is now cross-platform compatible for Multiplayer.
Patch Highlights:
New localizations — We added the following community-translated languages to the game: Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, and Ukrainian.
iOS Modding now supported — The game now stores and reads data from a location visible to standard file browsers. You can manage saves and other files directly on your device or by connecting it to a computer:
On iOS: Open the Files app → navigate to On My device → find the game’s folder;
The home:/ directory is now user-accessible;
You can transfer saves, character portraits, and other files (mods) between different devices.
Mobile Keyboard Improvements — The UI now shifts so the text cursor remains visible above the virtual keyboard, preventing cursor loss and mis‑registered taps on iOS.
Dynamic language support — We made changes to allow easier language updates and additions in the future.
Chinese font change — At the request of the Chinese localization volunteers, we have changed the font for Chinese.
Font Size saved per font language — The Font Size zoom setting is now saved per font language.
Indexing Fix — Resolved an off‑by‑one error in rebuilt BIF files that affected some community tools.
