It might not sound like much of an accolade, but this app just works: it does exactly what it’s supposed to without complication or unnecessary additions. Not only do you see the day’s paper and its contents in GB, you also have access the paper sold in Europe, the US and elsewhere, and the brilliant weekend edition. Don’t be put off by the title of the paper, it’s not all, or even mainly about money, with this app you can read the FT’s excellent, serious and independent reporting on domestic and international events.
Good, but fullscreen mode is broken

This is a white labelled version of the Pressreader app, and its nice to use, has a good image quality, and being able to open an article in a reader view is really nice. However, it seems to be impossible to view in full screen on my iPad mini (i.e. you can’t hide the ui by tapping on the page - the top and bottom bare is stuck on my screen permanently when reading). I think this is a bug because it works in the main Pressreader app, and the settings in this app reference full screen mode. Its a bit of an annoyance with the limited screen real estate on my iPad mini. The main Pressreader app also has page previews at the bottom of the UI, which is a really nice feature sadly missing from this app.
Cannot Fullscreen

As a reviewer has mentioned before, this app is PressReader under the hood. Unfortunately, the experience in this app is nowhere near as good as the actual PressReader app. Most egregiously, you cannot full screen the paper, so when zoomed in the bottom text is cut off and unreadable. I’m a huge fan of the FT’s coverage, but this digital edition needs an update to make it usable.
Excellent - long awaited option!

Well done FT developers for pushing this app out & for its execution. For digital subscribers that value the importance of editors determining what stories should be highlighted (and where) - i.e being able to view the print version and not wishing to be drawn down the rabbit hole of hyperlinks and reader comments this app is a warmly welcomed addition to the FT stable of apps. Great job!
• Search Digital Edition — find and save articles more easily
