Health Sync seamlessly syncs your data between health and fitness platforms.
• SYNC FROM: Apple Health, Coros, Google Health (Fitbit), Garmin Connect, HUAWEI Health, Oura, Polar Flow, Strava, and Suunto.
• SYNC TO: Apple Health, Coros, Google Health (Fitbit), Intervals.icu, Runalyze, Selfloops, Strava, Suunto, and TrainItAll.
It will sync data from the time you first use the app. Historical data (all data before the day of installation) can be synced after the free trial period. With Garmin Connect you can sync the last five years of activity data, and the last two years of other data (steps, sleep, heart rate etc.). With Polar Flow you can't sync historical data.
The sync runs automatically in the background a few times per hour (due to iOS restrictions on background processes). Activity GPS data is synced to Apple Health when the phone screen is unlocked. If activity data is synced while the phone is locked, Health Sync will add the GPS data to the Apple Health workout data the next time you open the Health Sync app.
Syncing from Apple Health requires your phone to be unlocked.
Health Sync is very easy to use. It offers a one-week free trial period. After the trial period, you can make a one-time purchase (lifetime license) to continue using the app and access the historical data sync option.
Try the app and see if it fits your needs. The data you can sync depends on the source app from which you sync data and the destination app(s) to which you sync the data.
Health Sync uses a privacy-by-design approach. The sync processes data on your phone, not on cloud servers. Your data won't be used and can't be accessed by others. Read the privacy policy for details.
Syncing between health data apps sometimes doesn't work as expected. Don't worry; almost all issues can be solved easily. You can check the Help Center menu in Health Sync. If you can't resolve the issue, you can send a Health Sync problem report (the last option in the Help Center menu) or email info@appyhapps.nl. You will receive support to solve the sync issue.
App started off well. Has gone down hill since, to the point of being almost unusable now. I have to allow Garmin authorisation pretty much whenever I do anything in the app or before I sync any activity. I have reached out in the past and had some historical sync issues fixed (thank you for that). But in my opinion, an app is not very usable if I have to keep reaching out to app support to get issues resolved. All I want to do is sync cycle activities from Garmin to Apple Health, either on the day or as a historical sync. But the constant authorisation request is becoming grating and I’ve pretty much given up at this point. Could reach out for a fix, but I’d expect further issues down the line anyway.
Ok with current data, rubbish with historic

Using it for garmin connect to Apple health and it’s a mixed bag. Syncing current data seems to work ok so long as you don’t use a VPN (Proton). If you do, the sync appears to work with no error messages or warnings but doesn’t actually copy any data!Historic data sync was a waste of time it took so long. I managed about 9 days of data overnight at best, often less. Even more annoying if you’ve left your vpn on!

Hi, thanks for your review. If your VPN blocks certain domains, it can cause sync issues that Health Sync cannot detect automatically. Please send an email to info@appyhapps.nl so I can provide the specific domains you should whitelist. Alternatively, you can try whitelisting the Health Sync app itself within your VPN settings. This should resolve the sync issues.Regarding historical data, the sync is currently slow due to iOS background processing restrictions. We are exploring ways to improve this, though it remains a challenge given the strict limitations in iOS, particularly with the recent iOS 26 updates.
Works but very slowly and with errors

I’m trying to sync 5 years of Huawei watch data with Apple health. Historic data sync is very slow, it seems to manage only 2-3 days each time I open it. It has missed whole months, although I guess these may be filled up later, but hard to be sure. It has also on at least one occasion duplicated a days data, so doubling step counts.
Developer Response
Hello, thanks for your comment. The historical data sync works slowly backward in time. It works slowly because Apple restricts the number of times a background process can run on an iPhone, and it also restricts the duration of background processes. You can check the historical data sync progress when you open the Historical data screen in the Health Sync app. When steps are present in Apple Health, the sync will add steps to Apple Health. We can't overwrite or replace existing step count data in Apple Health. If it is not working properly, please submit a Health Sync problem report: open the Help Center menu in Health Sync and select the last option: Report another problem.
Issue Syncing Garmin Steps
Sugababes go!
Having run the sync several times the steps shown in Apple Health will not match those in my Garmin Connect portal. Some days step counts are completely blank in the health app after the sync. Even rerunning a sync for a specific day will not fix the step count. Not sure why there are such inconsistencies given the source data is there. Have tried the help and FAQ but can’t find the issue.
