As someone who has dedicated much of my personal, academic & professional life researching into the flow state, I can unquestionably say this is my favourite app… ever! In fact with all the advances in AI, I was seriously considering ditching Apple, but this app made me think twice, syncing so brilliantly as it does with the Watch. Every day I wake up to the same blank slate, then tick off my vitamins and supplements, it automatically registers when I’ve used my Bluetooth scales, and then it’s workout time, I burn 700 calories before I sit at my computer ( which is ok when I’m nearly touching 70 in a couple of weeks) then I tick off ‘homework’, two sets of three pomodoro sessions, three sets of twenty minutes of reading/studying… oh and I take at least one photo before I go home, where I check off some house cleaning and two sessions of playing a musical instrument… oh and it also tracks when I wash my hands, so I set a minimum of seven times a day. I only just discovered that it also has some fantastic watch faces which I have just installed. These are just my preferences but there are loads to choose from, many of them no brainers and all of them allowing you to set an easily achievable threshold and see it slowly increase automatically over the forthcoming weeks and months. Guys, if you wanna beta tester, I’m well up for it, you may even convince me to save up for one of these new VR headsets… I can’t imagine how good this app will be when you’re wearing one of those!
