Version 26.1.2
We rebuilt Stats from the ground up, and it's absolutely stunning. This new experience features buttery-smooth 120fps animations, interactive charts you can tap and explore, hourly data views, and a completely customizable dashboard. You can rearrange everything, export your data, and even see your post analytics with email campaign metrics. It feels incredible to use—we keep opening it just to watch those beautiful animations. (Look for "Try New Stats" when you open Stats, or enable it anytime in Me > App Settings > Experimental Features.)
We also made improvements to how you manage your content. You'll find a completely redesigned Post Settings screen that makes configuring your posts smoother and more intuitive, plus better VideoPress integration and improved authentication for private sites in our experimental editor.
Finally, we squashed several bugs and made things more reliable.
- The app won't hang anymore when you open your Posts or Pages. (We know how frustrating that was.)
- We fixed a crash that happened when saving certain editor settings.
- Those annoying error popups on your dashboard? Gone.
- Application passwords now work more smoothly behind the scenes, and the Jetpack connection flow is more reliable.

Permanently crashing useless app
I’ve been using Wordpress more or less since it started. I’ve been using the Wordpress app from the beginning. I’ve not had a serious problem with either and for the last few years I’ve been editing, updating and creating new blogs mostly from my iPhone.
Then Wordpress introduced this disastrous Jetpack app which now always crashes, so it is unusable, whilst disabling the functionality of the useable Wordpress app.
Yet again a developer wants to turn an app into a platform by adding in bloatware and prioritising novelty over functionality.
FIX THESE ENDLESS JETPACK BUGS OR ALLOW US TO USE A FUNCTIONAL WORDPRESS APP!

Jetpack for blogging and starting my small business
The app is easy to use and what’s really helpful is knowing how many hits I’m getting. I find the responsive nature of the templates and how easy they are to use means I spend less time having to update my information which is so much better since I’m going into business now
Inconsistent
The app has a major issue in that it doesn’t back up articles in draft in accurate synch with a Mac web browser version even when it’s been saved. The app often holds the draft even when the articles is completed and Published.
If you try and delete a draft in the app that’s been published on the Mac it deletes the published version. It’s also useless for social media inserts and headers and placing images is best done on the Mac. I frankly preferred the old Wordpress app and that had problems. If you write long form this isn’t the app to use.
