We made some updates to the Pages menu. You’ll now find Settings in its own section, right underneath Stats (which we also moved). It’s available for both published and unpublished posts. Groovy.

Jetpack Isn’t Perfect — Who Is? But It’s Pretty Cool 😎
And the people are ace from the top down.
And yes they do that subscription model thing that all software companies do.
It is annoying and can be a bit pressuring if you are running your life on a shoestring.
But if you let them know, they will actually help in a positive and ethical way.
At least the ethos of the Internet model, is to try to let us little fish in on the action at least a little bit so we can be little entrepreneurs, like JP and WP is a HUGE one.
I have been with WP and JP for around 15 years.
I maybe want to grow a tiny bit more creatively and have a little shop. Nothing fancy just enough to sell my wares and the odd book by people I find really meaningful.
And I hope that I can afford to keep doing this with them.
One thing I would say is maybe having a business model that is a bit more graded to help single parents, sole traders, women with kids, any of the more oppressed and unequal parts of society, disabled people, especially unemployed people who are trying to get things going.
It has been truly helpful for me to develop myself on my own terms to work out how so can best help people too.

PS Perhaps a visual only neurodivergent interface too so visual people can get in on the Internet action somehow too?
Great but it could be better
Hello I made a website for healthier eating and I loved it. One thing to add you could maybe make people be able to pay on the website for things! Other than that amazing!
Permanently crashing useless app
I’ve been using Wordpress more or less since it started. I’ve been using the Wordpress app from the beginning. I’ve not had a serious problem with either and for the last few years I’ve been editing, updating and creating new blogs mostly from my iPhone.
Then Wordpress introduced this disastrous Jetpack app which now always crashes, so it is unusable, whilst disabling the functionality of the useable Wordpress app.
Yet again a developer wants to turn an app into a platform by adding in bloatware and prioritising novelty over functionality.
FIX THESE ENDLESS JETPACK BUGS OR ALLOW US TO USE A FUNCTIONAL WORDPRESS APP!
