Great laundry service but the app needs work
Firstly I have to say that I have tried a number of laundry services in London, as I have a large family and an itty-bitty combination washer/drawer in my rented house. Love 2 Laundry is by far the best in terms of flexibility of wash options (e.g. choose your water temp, detergent, etc), quality of folding, customer service, and price. The only thing I really don’t like is the app. I typically order the family monthly package, which allows you to order the first week via the app but subsequent weeks you have to send an email to customer service referencing your order # and pick up details. It may sound like a small thing, but I find this really inconvenient and find myself procrastinating sending the email until the last minute. I have provided this feedback via the company’s regular customer service surveys but this process hasn’t changed in the months I have been using the service. Seriously guys, just turn this into a subscription service. I would totally do it and then you’d have more timely pick up info and guaranteed revenue because I wouldn't forget to order. You are so close to being 5 stars.
While the app is only badly designed enough to warrant a two star rating (although that should be a sign of how poor it is) the customer service is abysmal and the quality of cleaning and repairs aren't up to scratch. I had to send my clothes back to be repaired for a second time after the first disaster and fortunately that attempt was acceptable and I was also refunded (although the drivers missed my "absolute latest possible time for delivery back" so I missed the show I was going to). Also, be warned that the terms and conditions on the company's website are, at time of writing, often contrary to the consumer rights act (2015), and that they wash all clothes before repairing them, even if you've asked them not to.
