Rubbish removal

When a problem of dumping is registered we get fast service.
When it comes to having our streets cleaned it’s a different story, in the last 12 months we can only recall it being done twice.
During the present crisis it would be especially good to have nice clean surroundings in all of Ealing for all residents and create a good impression to those looking to buy here as we have some well placed dwellings on the market
Wake up and pull your finger out

Missing some obvious categories

It works very well for the few categories it covers. But there’s some really obvious omissions. Uncollected rubbish/recycling being one and vandalised council street furniture being another. This is unfortunately down to Islington Council only selecting certain limited categories as opposed to the app’s capabilities, they (Islington) were supposed be adding more categories about 3 years back, but still with this major update, haven’t bothered. Oh well, thanks to the developers for responding to say it’s possible, pity IBC are so sloooow on the uptake. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it think, or something like that!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for reviewing the app. You are totally right, the council chooses the categories that they want reported via the app in their area. Islington is expecting to be adding more. You can use the app anywhere in the UK and you will see the categories vary by location.

Very useful, but please improve…

This app helps to keep our streets clean and tidy which is great, but the app is a little clunky.
One improvement would be to allow updating the location of a report when you realise you’ve submitted a report with a slightly incorrect location. Sadly you can not do this.

Also, rather than having to tap the location icon to update the position it would be great off it automatically started at your current location. Either way still a very useful application, well done.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the review. The app does set the pin at your current location on opening the app and resets to your current location on submitting a report. If you minimise the app or move on then you can use the 'Locate me' on the map screen to reset the pin to your current location. As the location defines the categories, layers and teams allocated the report, amending that after the fact is not possible currently.
