5 stars for desktop, 1 star for mobile

The desktop app, and whole approach, is amazing. Love it, it’s exactly what I needed someone to invent without knowing what it was I needed.

The mobile app is of very little use, and feels like an afterthought. I only really use it to figure out what I’m doing tomorrow, and that is a loooong-winded effort.

But - doesn’t matter because the desktop version can show me that in endless different ways depending on whether I want to know timings, capacity usage, etc

Near perfection

Mobile app is ‘okay’ but the desktop is where it is at, got myself a desktop version and simply couldn’t work out why something like this was free ... then the trail ended and I realised it wasn’t, so now I pay a subscription of £15 a month and it has saved me hours and hours of organisational work and so is well worth it. Aside from anything else, I love the ‘priority’ column as a good ‘things to do’ list needs one , I like uploading documents so they are all in one place under a title and, personally, I like pasting emails in from clients and have all the details and documents in one place with a timeline on when things needs sorting, how, where and who with - really helped my business as a sole trader. I saw an ad on Instagram, didn’t think I needed it until I had the trial, then it was well worth the money in my opinion. If you don’t like it then don’t pay for it, but at least try it for free - these people on here complaining about the app because it was paid for are jokes ... if you don’t like it, try it and then don’t have it, why did you pay for it if you hated it that much, it’s not rocket science ...

A good concept but needs work

The app is good at what it CAN do, but it simply lacks polish and some actions can make it crash entirely.

The first problem comes when trying to log in, which is never a good start. I type in the password, tap submit but then the password is deleted from the field and nothing happens.

It’s possible to log in via Monday’s magic link system. This gets me logged in but when trying to add a second account to the app, it simply loads indefinitely after I’ve entered the password, and using another magic link kicks me out of the first account. In short, I can’t find a way to successfully add two accounts to the app.

Some desktop functions aren’t available on this app, for instance the “Link to Pulse” columns cannot be edited in the app, only on desktop. You can’t even see the contents of those columns when viewing them on mobile.

The app can crash entirely when trying to view the profiles of other members of your team, typically done from the updates page.

I’ve only been using the app for a few hours but I picked up on these points almost immediately. I’m looking for a proper management system to roll out to my team and was very much hoping Monday would be the solution. The app just doesn’t seem complete or stable enough for me to recommend using it.

Regarding the link to pulse column, this is a very new feature in the desktop and we're working hard to get our mobile app to the same functionality as the web. We appreciate this isn't the best experience and thank you for your patience whilst we get to our goals.
