My Argos Card 4+

Tried this app as I thought it would make it easier to keep track of what I had paid and off which item. Believed it would show me how much I had spent, how much I had left to spend. Boy was I wrong, paid off an item twice , and it won't update that I have paid the item off, so am going to have to contact them or I will be charged. I normally pay £50 but made a payment for £200 to bring the amount owed down, but it didn't like that, took over week for it to show that I had, even though the money had gone out of my bank, when I called them they said, the system got used to me paying £50 and because I had paid more, I had to wait 5 working days from the date of payment before it would adjust the amount I had to spend, even though the money had gone out of my bank, I still had to wait. Am deleting the app and just going to use the online website.

From no warning of a supposed missed payment. Refusing to help in anyway during lockdown. Not removing a wrongly added late payment report on my credit file. To having stuck up customer service who pretend they’ve spoken to the manager, “who’s in a meeting”.

Never again. I was a stupid 19 year old when you gave me this credit, I've now just hit 24. Today I paid you off, yet I still don’t feel free from you because of a miss payment I was unaware of this month. I was coming up to 2 years with zero miss payments on my credit file. Now I’m going to be reminded of you for the next few years, again. You send zero warning of a miss payment and I was under the impression my direct debits were covered this month. If you’re app was up to date, I’d have just checked. Unfortunately your app is days out of balance, at best. If I could’ve grin and bared the way it works for any longer, I would’ve only paid off 90% and kept a minimal direct debit running to help towards my credit file. I can’t. I’m sick of your company. I just need my deleted and app removed. Never, ever again.

This app is badly in need of a revamp! It’s ok to view stuff from over 72 hours prior, I have also paid twice on occasion and it takes a week to get the refund of second payment to show. I have several BNPL separate accounts, with different end dates, so pay off each one separately, it gets stuck in “wait one moment...” until you switch your mobile off and on again! WARNING ⚠️ once you’ve paid and confirmed your bank transaction, don’t pay again! It will be taken from your bank almost immediately so trust your banking app! I also have a Direct Debit set up so the minimum amount comes out at the right time, just in case I’m faffing about with this app! 🤨. Stress Level: 8/10!
