Pets4Homes: Dogs, Cats, Pets 4+

It would be good if you allowed people to sell there unwanted equipment, ie. fish pond equipment, filters, pumps etc, plus bird stuff, cages, etc, I feel that would encourage even more people to use your site, maybe that’s something you guys could look into and consider, there are lots of people selling these items and would be good to advertise these on your site for other people to buy.

I truly hate this app more than any other in the world. Every single time I come off the app, it logs me out, so I have no idea if I have a message or not. Nothing ever loads except into a white page. I don’t know what’s going on the website used to work fine and now that’s not working either. The only reason I need it to work is because I can sell my kittens quickly, but the cheek of having to pay to put up an advert, I didn’t do that. On the app, you cannot do as much as you want to do like on the website. These two things should be exactly the same, but they are not.. I think the most infuriating thing about it all is when you tap the search bar and you’re not allowed to search anything you have options, but I know what I’m looking for so just let me type it out. It’s a lot quicker and easier

Absolutely the worst app I have ever had the misfortune to use. Where do I start? Well, I have replied to over 20 adverts for dogs I am interested in, not one has ever replied via the pets4homes messaging system. The search facility is a joke, it constantly forgets the location you have selected, plus any other parameters you type in. Search area is a joke, constantly get adverts for over 100 mile away from where I live, despite typing in up to 15 miles. Saved searches alerts don’t work, until you delete them, then you get loads come through to your email, and no way to stop them as the alert doesn’t exist in your account any more. Suspect a lot of the ads are fake as well as the numbers attached to them. A complete waste of time, there are other ways to find a pet and I strongly suggest you try elsewhere if you don’t want your search to be as frustrating and painful as having your teeth pulled out!

We’re currently working very hard to resolve the issue with our message feature. In the meantime, we recommend you use the website/browser version.
Regarding the “search facility”, we would appreciate it if you could reach out to support@pets4homes.co.uk, with a video if possible, to help us troubleshoot this issue.
With our newest update, there shouldn’t be any bugs with the search area, so please make sure you've got the latest version of our app. Should this not be the case for you, please let support know, and we’ll look into that as well.
