Handy app for scanning pictures and receipts!

Came across this and I was surprised at the good work it does. Most of the times it provides a good quality scan (enough for simple scanning, obviously wont match a scanner), but handy especially for scanning receipts. It does a very good job with stitching the images and also dealing with the glare (when paper is glossy). Sometimes it may distort the image a bit, but I haven’t found it major. I just rescan again when I’m not satisfied with stitches product. Again, it depends on the purpose of the scan. Overall great rounder.

The app scans ok although it significantly decreases the imagine quality, which is particular frustrating since most of the photos being scanned are very old and therefore not the best quality to begin with.

Once you have scanned them and go to save them to your phone, naturally you would assume you can save directly to your camera roll- but no. They have made it extremely inconvenient to save the photos. I have to save it to my google drive, which is extremely slow at uploading, then email it to myself, then screenshot the images from my email app then crop them all. Not sure who’s job it was to decide not to add a ‘save to camera roll’ button on this app but I highly recommend firing them for this extreme oversight

This app has brought a lot of happiness to my family around the world

My parents passed away recently and I’ve been using this app to record photos dating back to 1950s and sending them to family around the world.
Great app, easy to use and very good picture quality.
Love the fact that you can also edit the photos.
Thanks Google!
