Terrible app and product
Been persevering with the app and charger for a couple of years . Both are a real cause of stress . Just Unreliable . You cannot trust the timer to work (as others have also said ) Not user friendly . Support staff talk down to you . Avoid . As others have said it has one job to do , and fails more often than it succeeds . Just awful
Having read other reviews someone , thank god , mentioned an alternative App called ELECTRIC MILES . I have now been using this for 4 months or so and it is so much better . I was about to rip out the project ev hardware and spend another few hundred on a different charger as I was was so frustrated but thankfully the electric miles app DOES seem to be able to control the project EV hardware and does work . Not had any failures and not going to bed terrified that I’ll wake up to a failed charge .

I would give this App MINUS 1 STAR as this App is the worst I have ever experienced. It does not work. It continually shows unavailable and will not connect with the charger unit.
Getting charger to work is hit and miss.
Only just had this put in two days ago. We are new to Ev and just wanted a charger which we can plug into securely as and when we need to, coupled to being able to get some advantage from our solar panels and battery. This system was recommended by the company putting them in. Hopefully we still have leverage as we have yet to pay for the installation.
If they fail to rectify these issues they can take it out and replace with something which works, if as it is not working for us.
Works very well
I have had this for a good few years and really appreciate the new version. Cleaner ui and a bit more intuitive. At set up, I remember I needed to contact support to update the firmware in my charger. After that it has been working without a blip. It has an ‘access point’ mode so you can get it on to your wifi. Then you switch it back to normal to operate. Using the app to automatically control access to the charger, monitor your power consumption overtime. Someone tried to steal my unit and failed. Bent the wall bracket which project ev kindly replaced free of charge.
