Easy parking at last!
At last, a simple way to park. I drive in, more the car park number, park my car, and pay on the app. Literally done in 20 seconds (maybe less). I’ve visited one frequently (the beach near me) and it has saved the location and car park number. Also your payment details are saved so in a couple of taps I was done and enjoying the beach with my family. Also, you get an email and a text confirming everything went through ok, and within the app is a countdown timer showing how much time you have left. Once within the last 10 minutes, they text you to tell you that the time will soon expire. Absolutely superb. I hope all car parks operate this way. No parking fines for me!
Much improved and reliable.
In the past the app has been quite glitchy but it’s much more reliable, easier to read, and offers more features now. Adding and removing cars is easy, if renting cars for example.
It asks you to select the car each time if you’ve more than one - it used to default to the last car selected, which caught me out a few times, when switching cars, causing me to pay for the wrong car.
My only suggestions would be to improve the search function, including search by postcode or road, and being able to see meters and availability in another area, to aid route planning. At present the map only shows meters nearby and how busy they are. I can see that by looking around me!
And if possible to take American Express or Paypal as an alternative to Visa or Mastercard, but that’s not down to the app.

Hi there, thank you very much for taking the time to re-review the RingGo app, it is very much appreciated as it helps us to improve the app. The search facility will allow search via postcode (as well as name, code and location). The maps screen will default to showing nearby zones and availability, but if you use the search facility at the top of the screen, you'll be able to update the results to show the zones and availability for the criteria you have searched for. Lastly, as you've pointed out, if not down to the app, but unfortunately we can only process payments like AMEX if the council or car park owner's bank accepts them.

Very poor customer service
Easy, quick and convenient... all ticks in the box.
Customer service is however very disappointing service.
A 15 minute opportunity to correct a mistake, without an opportunity then to correct it if something is missed. Its a little ridiculous and I'm sure a "money making" downside for Ringgo, and a catch-out for car park users such as me.
Perhaps not very often, however I used a healthcentre car park which I visited late at night due to sudden illness/emergency. Despite not really being focussed on car parking at 8pm at night, I still processed (with good intention!) using my existing App. Unfortunately I wasnt thinking clearly and forgot I was driving my wife's car (a different car to the car park booking).
Not feeling well, late at night, the last think I'm going to think about is "check I've processed my parking after 15 mins"!
It suggests the following:
1. Customer Service capability - i.e. the ability to respond to errors is inadequate in an environment where I'm sure its common - in other words, take the money of users, but dont sort it in good faith if theres a problem
2. Customer Service response - i.e. poor, otherwise Ring-go would address this, recognise the error, and correct. At the end of the day, I just wanted the selected car to be changed, not to re-imburse! yet now, I'm faced with a potential fine!!
