I used to be pretty fit, competing in triathlons but work and laziness has got in the way. I found this great app and am committing to one cycle a day, not a huge commitment, I have no excuses not to find 7 minutes for my health. You can do this anywhere, even after a few days I found I could do more exercise in each of the 30 seconds activities. I have experienced some mild muscle soreness especially after the pushups which should be expected. My heart rate is elevated and a break into a sweat so although it’s only 7 minutes, it’s 7 minutes of quality exercise I wasn’t doing before and I am feeling more energised and more motivated. I’m 53 and it suits me, I think anyone who has been struggling to get a bit fitter but is lost with all the advice out there should give this a go, adapt the exercises if necessary to suit your fitness and strength levels especially at the beginning. I can’t do full press-ups yet so I lean against the the window sill, gradually I’ll lean against objects closer to the floor as I get stronger. Give it a go, it’s 7 minutes, what’s to lose?
